My guess is there are far more predators and pedophiles in today's public schools, so many it will make the Catholic Church priest scandals pale in comparison.
Course, this national scandal won't get the light of day in the lamestream media, since teachers unions are all controlled by the DemonRats.
I would be very interested in seeing their course studies from college and looking for commonality, my personal guess is one of the social science courses.

The same thing happened when I was in junior high (no, not to me). The teachers would just get fired and everyone pretended it didn't happen.
This was kept very quiet by the Charlotte Mecklenburg school district (the school district is currently in the midst of some real problems and this was the last thing they needed)--first time I heard of it was this evening.
IMO, It's the older woman thing that started with American Pie.
I've wondered the same and here's a theory. For the past 30 years or more we've lived in a permissive society that's deemphasized personal responsibility and traditional values. At the same time the popular culture has virtully deified promiscuous and unconventional sexuality. I think many young men and women are addicted to the Pleasure Principle.
For those reasons some young people in the past couple of generations have no idea how to conduct themselves within the bonds of a conventional marital relationship. I believe some of these arrested-development young women simply don't know how to deal with grown-up men and are grasping for the kind of total control they can find in relationships with juvenile males. I could be wrong but it makes sense to me.
