If you are ever in that situation, insist on a jury trial. You're more likely to find two jurors who understand what it means to be a parent than a judge who does.

Yes, Terri's family was kept in the dark (until ~ 2001) about a bone scan that was done in 1991. Apparently, according to the scan details, Terri "complained" during her physical therapy sessions. She was sent for a scan and it was discovered that she had broken bones all over her body: ribs, pelvic area, and femur among others. It makes one wonder why Terri really collapsed that Feb. night in 1990. Here's the link:

On POSSIBLY as early as Tuesday, February 22, 2005, the Courts might have Terri's feeding tube removed for the THIRD time.
For any "newbees" to this thread, here are the numbers to call. Ask them to save Terri Schiavo by NOT allowing her to starve to death.
If you don't have time to call all of the numbers, please at least call one number (or e-mail). Calling is better than sending an e-mail, but please at least do something.

Oh, so many lines of postings spent on those people, who come to this situation late in the game, know nothing of the years' long facts of this case, and express that they wouldn't want to live like a vegetable ... as if they know. They wouldn't kill their dog like Terri's "deathmaster" wants to murder her. God Bless Terri and her family. Fight, Terri, fight on!

actually, my husband is in his last semester of law school and want to do crimial prosecution. He said the same thing, a jury would be sympathetic to a situation like that.
IOW it's real easy to play God... which is ironic, really... if you observe the behavior and thought of the pro-aborts, the euthanasia crowd, and the killing-embryoes-as-a-hobby folks, you will find they do, indeed, think of themselves as little gods, though in not so many words. Their religion is "science" (double-quotes important here), whose dogmas they embrace with all the ferver of the most zealous religious fanatic.
Here's more of Terri's medical record documents. Notice at the bottom of page 2 that the doctor notes that Terri vocalizes in the prone position during physical therapy, and that she says "stop!" to the nurses. Back in 1990!!! That Terri might no longer do this is proof that Michael has neglected her care.
