If one is a privileged exec from the ruling classes who, with his family, lives in a gated community, policed 24/7, or is a high and mighty politician that can afford to be secure with federal protection, live behind the White House walls, or otherwise be insulated from this situation, it isn't a "problem". To recognize it as a problem as a member of the Democrat and Republic Political Establishment, then makes one a sham and a failure if one in the past or present promoted or promotes a) open borders and b) that all 'immigrants' to the USA are just WONDERFUL! ......... /sarcasm

And in here in my state of Missouri we have:

Bill of Rights, Article I, Section 23

Califronia and New York do not have unambiguous right to "bear arms" statements in their constitutions, like Missouri.

That in effect leaves there citizenry defenseless and easy prey.

Second amendment yea, right, try carrying a hand gun without all the proper government paper, paying all the government fees, having an government approved gun and government approved amuntinsion. And only at government approve places. The second amendment is dead.
