The Hillary & "Condi" 'boomlet'either represents American decadence or the obvious degeneracy exhibited by the usual politicians.

I've heard it said that...
John McLaim is NOT a donkey with a horn rubber banded to his nose acting like a RINO that likes to hang with Elephants..
But "they" are WRONG...

Although the horse has long left the barn,
John really must STOP mouthing the stuff
he thinks will please the media.
Pssssssssssst John. To your own self be true.
You're the media darling ONLY because you've
abandoned your beliefs to savor media attention.
NOT a maverick.
NOT a statesman.
Just another DC fraud filled with political ambition.
One thing for certain!
John can never "truthfully" say the GOP left him.

I saw this. I thought Russert was way out of line asking the question. They are in overseas together, fellow senators, on a topic they have a common interest in. What are they supposed to say?
Chris Wallace did the same thing to former presidents Clinton and Bush. "Now that you aren't running for office, do you get along?" In both cases, it was the questioner grandstanding, and the only answer that could be expected was the one they got.

Senator McCain,
Next time a fool reporter sets you up with a fawning question like, "Wouldn't this beautiful talented Senator Clinton from the great state of New York make an absolutely fantantastic POTUS?"
Your reply should be, "Yes, many residents of the great state of New York believe all that of their Honorable Senator Clinton. And I think it best if the rest of the citizens of this great country come to that conclusion by themselves and without input from me."

McCain, Hillary, Lindsey Graham. All examples of professional politicians who are the opposite of what the founders had in mind.

I'll tell you what; I don't agree with McCain on this one, but by gosh, my hat goes off to him for the sacrifices he made as a POW in Vietnam. They must have tortured him quite severely, beating him about the head for days on end. His country owes him a debt of gratitude that can never be fully repaid.

What's bad is, with Russert and the rest (Sawyer, Walters, Couric, etc.) is that the real gushfest doesn't even begin until after the '06 election.
When Hillary gets reelected to her Senate seat, the MSMs will be making her into Saint Hillary of Ark for her '08 run for the White House.
