One can only guess how the subs will be re-designed

Might I suggest screen doors?

It's no more the end of the Royal Navy than Clinton was the end of the US Navy.

You forget. Clinton failed in his policy because Sam Nunn was still a U.S. Senator and he could not get the support of enough Democrats to ram his homosexual policies down the throat of Congress. As it was, they infiltrated the Services, not to mention other government institutions, and stained what they touched.

Sad to say, the Royal Navy is just a shadow of its former strength.

I don't think policy makers in the States agree - otherwise our ships, our troops and our aircraft would all be home by now.

So you think the Royal Navy is just as dominant now as it was in the the previous three centuries. If not for Tony Blair's incredible leadership and charisma there would be no Royal Navy anywhere of interest right now. It is a small fraction of its former power and the drive to recruit homosexuals to do their job in it is a symptom of its weakness.

Fine, if we're so unhelpful, then why don't your leaders say "Good bye, we don't need you". Then I wouldn't have to pay tax money for what I thought was a worthy cause only to have that urinated upon by my American colleagues.

I consider you more intelligent than that.

I am arguing that the Royal Navy reaching out to homosexual addicts is a symptom of its malaise.

I do not want the Royal Navy to sail this route.

I want the Royal Navy to take its proper place in the world without grovelling before the abomination of homosexuality.

The Royal Navy has turned to Stonewall, the gay lobby group, for advice on how to recruit and retain homosexual sailors.

,,, I'll save them the consultancy fee.

1] Place fags in the top admin jobs onshore.

2] Hire Martha Stewart to go aboard and get everything looking fabulous.

3] Rename ships HMS Inclusion, HMS Louise and HMS Fister.

Problem solved.

I think your comment implying that we should kill off the gays was a little 'oops overboard' don't you think?

When did conservatism stop being about small government and individual responsibility and start being about a nanny state interfering in people's bedrooms?

Suggesting that we kill them all is ludicrous

my error the sarcasm off tag should have been one line under.

(it actually was relayed to me from an retired old timer from the british navy.)

Murder is not a proper solution. Sorry if I gave that impression.
