Exactly, hardest rain I've EVER heard at once in California.
I had to be awake to notice the lightening. I insulated my attic and replaced windows with new double pained ones last year and it is silent in the house for the most part.
Gee, they just said we could get 1.5 inches per hour at times.
I hope I did REAL good on the roof. It's frustrating, because it's a new roof and I helped the general contractor do it. We put the paper down perfectly along with all the other stuff.
I think so much rain is forcing the rain under the tile in some places.
OMG that is terrible.
A talked with someone who said they saw a car hydroplane this morning when the car hit a deep puddle doing over 80 MPG. Stupid stupid stupid.
Sylmar got 7 inches in a few hours yesterday..! I watched that lightening storm from the Burbank Metrolink station....it was insane...the clouds turned green and red...

I was just watching channel 4, they said you have a big cell over you starting right NOW. Could drop 1.5 inches in an hour.
I am south/east of you some 17 miles. Kind of around Knots Berry farm. We are clear so far.
Boy I hope so, I'm real logical and if this doesn't work I don't know what would be left to seal.
My next attempt might be an exorcism on the roof.

Drat. Wish me luck folks. I have water watch at my office. We flooded and spend 7 hours yesterday taking care of business. I guess I'd better mosey on over.
You wouldn't be want to be on the 15 going to Vegas in another 90 minutes.
The weather channel says rain for all of SoCal.

I recall being in a rainstorm on 15 in Barstow.
