I agree with your assessment of Graham.

I saw him on MTP with Hillary a year or so ago. The way he hangs with her, you would think he is hoping to be her VP nominee or something.

When he made his 'video and pix of worse atrocities at Abu Ghraib to come' speech, I lost any respect for Lindsay.

...Wonder what Kerry is thinking this morning.

I thought the same thing at the time last night when I heard him called "charlatan, unreliable, 'expert' w/4months 12 days experience, etc." These REAL veterans and Admiral Hoffman did NOT mince words!

It was hilarious imo that the flintlock rifle they held aloft was but a symbol of the rifles they were to receive.......DC wouldn't allow the real rifles, you know (they said) like the one Kerry held up during the campaign. LOL

I do so hope that Kerry was listening last night.

Bush to Chirac: Hey, Frenchie, know why cowboy boots have pointed toes?

Chirac to Bush: No, why?

Bush to Chirac: So you can fit a size 10 boot into a size 9 a$$hole...let me demonstrate.

Lindsey Graham is great! "We'll stay until the job is done."

I'm with you. I thought Graham was superb. Everyone is naturally dumping on Hillary, but I'm horrified with McCain's grandstanding. He started out with the usual platitudes, but did you notice how the bastard started telegraphing the only way we'd leave Iraq early is if the casualty level of our troops kept increasing?

Geeze, Louise!!! McCain is a puke traitor! For him to lead a press conference and essentially tell the terrorists, "If you start targeting huge numbers of our troops, the American people (read media) will see to it that this war ends in disaster."

Don't think for one minute Lindsey Graham's interruption of McCain's traitorous little speech was accidental. He bluntly interrupted McCain to continue talking about Social Security, a question he'd already answered!!! When Graham barged in on the pep talk McCain was giving to the terrorists, McCain made his famous clenched teeth/locked jaw face. McCain was furious that little Lindsey Graham shut him down.

I will forever be grateful to Lindsey Graham for that insightful episode. And I am stunned, shocked and dismayed that no one else on this thread is remarking about it!

Thank you for pointing that out. I was interrupted and didn't hear the last half of the press conference. Good job, Lindsey, even if you sometimes disappoint me. McCain shoots his mouth off way too much, methinks.

I don't trust Lindsey Grahm, either. But, no one can say that isn't smart. That just makes him more dangerous.

Remember how desperate Kerry was to get McCain on the ticket, he was hoping that will bring the independents.

The same logic applies to Hillary.

Geez, that woman was ugly when she was in college and father time isn't being very nice to her!

One has to wonder how Janet can stand to wake up next to her!

On-the-cheap pomp and circumstance so these preening pols can get press time to babble! When I consider the REAL sacrifices made by the Americans that these hacks are supposed to be working for, this becomes positivelyely nauseating. The gold-plated tackiness of one of Saddam's cheesy palaces would have been a more appropriate setting for these egotists.

That Graham is a fast learner- I'd almost think he had been in the DC Millionaire Club for years.

I was listening to the conference from another room, and I could tell the Democrats and Republicans from each other.

Democrats, Hillary in particular, load their sentences with double negatives and intentionally use wording to confuse. Hillary's statements in this conference were overloaded with technical vocabulary, which I have no doubt is meant to mislead people.

I really wish we could see all of that press conference again. I'm still reeling that McCain made those statements! And again, I cannot believe I'm the only one remarking about it!

Hellooooooo, anyone else care to verify what I just witnessed? I'm starting to feel like I might have just imagined it and consider going back to bed.

LOL ... sKerry must be an interesting shade of green right now. I'll bet we see him pull some sort of publicity stunt, maybe demand to be included in Rush's visit over there. In fact, I wonder if they are all over there to upstage Limbaugh. Can you imagine the lines Rush will get out of these critters preceeding him? At least we know he'll repair any morale damage caused by McHillary and Friends.

Big tip of the hat to Semper Paratus for "McHillary!"

I'll have to take your word, didn't see it. I'm not surprised McCain would try to undercut our troops. I was going to slam the whole bunch as grandstanders but I suppose Lindsy gets a small pass if he cut McCain off.

I wonder why a number of people that think they are gods, people that are a one of TWO representatives for ONE state, think we care what they have to say? The President won the will of the country. They didn't. I find the grandstanding to be rather pathetic. The real heros are our troops.

When Rummy goes over there I know its about the troops and keeping apace of the war effort on the ground. When the President went it was about lifting the troops spirits. When these Senators go its about face time in front of a camera. They win no points with the public for these stunts.

During the Impeachment hearings...(X-42)...Graham came across as this mellow, good ole boy but sharp 'friend' of conservatives and readymade to 'right the wrongs'

I think a lot of us were bedazzled with him initially....

...but his true character kept peeking through....and it wasn't long till many of us here were convinced (& still are) that he's just another RINO...although a very slick one.....!!
