..... her Iran answer was almost nonsense,,,,,
Her Rambling was a string of cliche's strung together and delivered in an amateurish manner. This is the first time I have seen her in a real situation, free of handlers and soft balls from the press. She is unable to deliver real thoughts. When she is out of "play" mode and prepared statements she is in real trouble.

"I really wish we could see all of that press conference again. I'm still reeling that McCain made those statements! And again, I cannot believe I'm the only one remarking about it!
Hellooooooo, anyone else care to verify what I just witnessed? I'm starting to feel like I might have just imagined it and consider going back to bed."
I missed this campaign 08 press conference, however, McCain, the speech 'god', along with his other 'insurgents' are after Rummy's head.
To: FairOpinion
This is going to be the ticket in 08.....then McCain gets whacked.

You didn't imagine it.
Senators should be censured for making statements like that, which only serve to encourage the enemy -- which will cost American lives.

That depends, Mom. If it was a flintlock made by Cecil Brooks then it is a prize beyond price. The Swifties are deserving of no less.

It's no accident that Graham finds himself in this company of lefties. He's the one who wants to sink the Bush legacy by raising SS taxes (the cap) which would only make the Dems howl with glee as they did when #41 fell into their trap. Certainly W is smart enough to know this.

I'll have to take your word, didn't see it. I'm not surprised McCain would try to undercut our troops.
Until today, I really was convinced that Hillary was our most evil United States Senator. She just got bumped by John McCain, and I'm dead serious.
I agree with your overall assessment of grandstanding Senators and I suppose Lindsey Graham is as guilty as all of them for wanting face time, but thank God he was there to try and thwart John McCain's terrorist pep talk.

McCain was Lindsey Graham's choice for president against Bush. That, and his cosying up to Hillary, has left me only luke warm towards him. I'll continue watching his actions rather than noting his words.
No transcript of the conference on FoxNews yet, but they have an article, where they mention this:
"In December, McCain said he had "no confidence" in Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld, but he added that keeping Rumsfeld in the position was President Bush's choice, not his.
After visiting Iraq in 2003, Clinton called for the administration to delay its timetable on transferring power to Iraq until there was more stability on the ground a suggestion the White House rejected."

I guess Hillary is not going to apologize to Bush, admitting, that she was wrong.

That's quite an assemblage: two lefties and three squishy Republicans--nice going Frist!

"The five senators flying to Iraq are McCain, R-Ariz.; Clinton, D-N.Y.; Susan Collins (search), R-Maine; Lindsey Graham (search), R-S.C.; and Russ Feingold (search), D-Wis. All but Feingold are members of the Senate Armed Services Committee. "
