I hate to admit it but I have to. I cant take Liberals anymore. I tried to be open minded. I tried to realize there are many points of view. But even the Liberals I know that I never used to consider radical have made me crazy. I dont get them. And I cant respect them. Its just gone too far. Its all in their answers:
Ask a Liberal of the two events that occurred roughly at the same time, which one did they scream about: The Abu Ghraib prisoner abuse or the beheading of Nick Berg. Theyll say Abu Ghraib.
Ask a Liberal which is more unjust: The lack of Geneva Convention status for the prisoners at Guantanamo Bay or the imprisonment of journalists in Castros prisons in Cuba and theyll tell you its the prisoners at Guantanamo.
Ask a Liberal who is the greatest threat to womens issues and theyll tell you its George Bush rather than the Taliban.

In spite of their rhetoric and propaganda, Liberals " DO NOT " have a open mind as they claim, but, have a very narrow view of things and issues. And they hold the monopoly and will forever hold the monopoly on HYPOCRISY.

In spite of their rhetoric and propaganda, Liberals " DO NOT " have a open mind as they claim, but, have a very narrow view of things and issues. And you notice that this view is mostly of urban people, too. Did you notice that when Stalin started the first of his great political progroms the first group he went against were the self-sufficient kulaks who were the farmers of the Ukraine?

I agree. They have lost their minds! For them evil is good and good is now bad. Their hatred will be the end of them.

Savage is right on this: Liberalism IS a mental disorder.
The "seed" is laid by the NEA, reinforced by Movies, News, TV, and in full bloom during their years at your neighborhood Bolshevik University.
To: jinkagrl
Makes you wonder " WHO " is in control of their minds and spirits ???
Feminism and homosexuality is demonic and satanic.
The feminist and the gay agenda activist are nothing but satans pawns and tools in his sick twisted hand.
Whether we agree or like Micheal Savage or not , one thing I do agree with him on is that ? " Liberalism is a MENTAL DISORDER "

This is the kind of obnoxious response that drives off Republican converts. Get off your high horse.

The left's dislike for America is a very simple thing, really. But let me preface this with a anecdote from a movie.
Some of you may be familiar with the movie "Fight Club" featuring Ed Norton and Brad Pitt. In one scene, Ed Norton fights another member of his "club". After knocking him down, he jumps on top of him and slams away at the other fighter's face until it is pulp. When asked why he gave the other guy such a savage beating, he replies, "I wanted to destroy something beautiful".
It's pretty much the same concept when it comes to the left. They see the beauty, and they wish it to gargle on its own blood.
For example, look at all of the revisionist history that is so common nowadays. Declaration of Independence? Sure, but Jefferson owned slaves. Lincoln freed them? Yeah, but he was gay. Columbus discovered America for Europe? Sure, but he slaughtered Indians. Jesus Christ and the other tenants of Christianity? Just have a gander of "The Last Temptation of Christ", "PissChrist" and images of The Virgin Mary smeared with dung for a rebuttal of all that Christianity stuff.
In other words, they don't smell the flowers. They sneeze at the pollen.
I believe that they think perfection in a non-socialist / communist state is unobtainable, and they seem to be doing everything in their power to self fulfill this prophecy. It isn't about equality, brotherhood, diversity or any of that other hippie - dippy craporama. It's about an attempt to shift power in this country, plain and simple.

This is the kind of obnoxious response that drives off Republican converts. Get off your high horse. Well, some of the things I used to believe do seem pretty silly in retrospect:
- The more people do something wrong, the less wrong it becomes.
- It is more important to have a good excuse when things go wrong, than to ensure that they go right.
- Doing something wrong, but having an excuse, is almost as good as doing something right.
- Wanting to have and control the wealth one has earned is selfish; being resentful of other people for wanting to have and control the wealth they earned is right and good, because after all those people are selfish and thus deserve to be resented.
- It is good to incide resentment among those with little wealth toward those with more becuase, as above, the wealthy people are selfish.
As it happens, I had a brain even when I believed those things, though looking back at them I can certainly can see why someone might think I didn't.

I believe that they think perfection in a non-socialist / communist state is unobtainable, and they seem to be doing everything in their power to self fulfill this prophecy. Liberals believe in a zero-sum universe, where the existence of something beautiful makes everything else uglier. The existence of goodness is responsible for badness. The destruction of light will make the darkness brighter.
Unfortunately, until the liberal mind disease starts to unravel, this world view will somehow make sense; anything that contradicts it will be seen as evil. Liberalism is an amazingly powerful mental force; those who have not experienced it really do not appreciate its strength.

I take your point that some of the things MANY of us believed in, we can now look back and wonder why we had those beliefs. At the same time, I think we should welcome people who've had a change of heart rather than insult their intelligence. I've seen this before- where a lifelong Democrat finally changes sides. And rather than being welcomed for seeing the light, they are derided as in "what took you so long?" To keep converts, I think we need to treat them better than that. If nothing else, it's disrespectful.
