Zell Miller to speak..
Steve Gardner (sp?) was mentioned--lost his job over his support of the Swift Boat Vets, I think I heard.
Does anybody have any information on how he's doing now?
I am so glad that they also honored the soldier that has his foot blown off in Iraq and is going back!!!
We all have to do everthing we can to be sure that NONE of the WOT vets get treated like the Viet vets did---
John O'Neill did a great introduction and recognition of the brave young Capatin!
Thank heaven Sessions is all over this LOST treaty.
This link talks about it, if anyone wants to check it out later after this awards ceremony.
"Stop the U.N. from taxing Americans! Tell the Senate to OPPOSE the anti-American LOST treaty!"

The congressman, Mike Pence that Session referred to is one of the new young conservatives in the house---and I mean conservative. I do believe he and some of the others may end up giving Bush some headaches these next few years regarding his spending!!!
Do you know anything about this bill that Jeff is talking about that is SO bad, but passed out of Foreign Relations Committee with "0" no votes?
*LOL* Right you are.
Yes he did! John O'Neill is a good speaker.
And that Captain is a patriot Soldier! Thank God for him!
This man needs a speech writer
Thank you---now Lady Pilgrim won't have to worry about it! Ha!
Jeff Session, major UN bashing going on---Yahooty!!!!
UN failure and hypocrisy exposed...
This is the first time I've really heard this guy. I'll be paying more attention to him from now on!
Haven't a clue.
Sounds miserable though.
W did sign CAFTA today.
I have heard him give speeches on the Senate floor, and he is usually very good---more "off the cuff" on the Senate floor, which is weird, isn't it?
I wish Zell would have talked longer---I still can hear him say "spitballs" in my mind!!
Laura Ingraham had Capt. Rozelle on her radio show today. Great interview, with a great hero. He's going back in a couple of weeks. She has a link on her website for his book at amazon:
link to "Back in Action : An American Soldier's Story of Courage, Faith and Fortitude"
It's time like this that I really wish I weren't so ignorant of political and legal "speak"---I read those bills but I have to admit getting "tired head" really quick..
That's the reason I read FR. I read all the things others say and then make up my own mind. ;-)
These folks on here know how to decipher. LOL!
The Great State of Alabama
Presentation of Ronald Reagan Award coming up next.
I waited in line once, for an hour, so I could go through a line a people and shake his hand. And I am glad I did.
He shaked a lot of hands. He did not know us...he did not have to stick around there and meet the general public...but he did. Heck, I am not even from his state.
I was impressed...
Any idea who?
