Hillary Clinton to visit Iraq AFP: 2/18/2005 BAGHDAD, Feb 18 (AFP) - US senator Hillary Clinton, wife of former president Bill Clinton, is expected in Baghdad on Saturday, a source at the US embassy said on Friday.

The source said the five-member delegation would hold talks with Iraqi government officials and members of the national assembly, whose makeup was confirmed Thursday by the electoral commission.

Heading the US delegation is John McCain, the Republican senator for Arizona and one-time rival of US President George W. Bush. McCain has been critical of the US administration's policies in Iraq since the March 2003 invasion.

The delegation also includes senators Russel Feingold, Susan Collins and Lindsey Graham.

Hillary's only doing this in order to try to upstage Bush's trip to Europe - because Europe has had to eat a lot of crow about Afghanistan and Iraq.

Hillary will try to keep Europe's kiss-up to Bush off the front pages. She will not succeed.

Well .. since McCain's wife proudly wears a "Hillary" pin, I doubt that will happen.

Well .. if Bush hadn't already co-opted McCain for his campaign .. Kerry might have been able to entice McCain for the VP spot.

It's amazing all the unstable personalities in the highest places in our government. To think a traitor who sold the country out almost got elected President and the cover up of his plots against the US government before he became a Senator. We are standing on the edge, right now.

"When does he go up for reelection? Did he run in 04? or 02?A FReeper was involved with an effort to get rid of McCain in 2001. It had momentum and then 911 happened. I believe McCain got reelected in 2002 off the momentum of 911.

Our local NY Metro media is only saying that Hilary is going to Iraq with no mention of the others.

Thank heaven for the net so we get the entire story.

It's good to see whose part of the cabal.
