When are we Americans going to wise up? How many times does the French government, led by Jacques Chirac (search), have to put all of us in danger before we get the picture? France is helping worldwide terrorism.
Here's the latest. France has said no to Secretary of State Rice, who asked the Chirac government to designate Hezbollah (search) as a terrorist group. If France would do that, Hezbollah could not raise money in Europe, which it is now doing through various charitable fronts.
There is no question Hezbollah is a terrorist group. It was responsible for killing more than 200 U.S. Marines in Lebanon (search) back in 1983. And since then has murdered thousands of civilians primarily in and around Israel.
The secretary general of Hezbollah, a guy named Hassan Nasrallah, has openly stated that the group's slogan is "death to America." Hezbollah's head of security, a guy named Imad Mugniyah, met at least once with bin Laden and has a $5 million price tag on his head put there by the U.S. government.
Hezbollah is funded and harbored by Iran and Syria. And even the new Palestinian leadership wants them branded a terrorist group because they oppose any peaceful solution vis-a-vis Israel.
Jacques Chirac won't call Hezbollah terrorists. When is enough enough, ladies and gentlemen? When will the American people realize that Chirac and his minions are putting this country and millions of other of people in danger?
So I am again calling for all responsible people not to buy French products, not to travel to France, and to contact the French embassy in Washington, and let them know Chirac's conduct is unacceptable.

I can't think of even one purchase we have made in the past two years that is manufactured or distributed by a French company.
We avoid all French wine (which apparently many people do, since there is such a surplus, they want to turn it into industrial products). We buy American, Australian and Chilean wine.
French cars are practically non-existent. Clothing? No real influence anymore. Foods...nothing necessary nor especially desirable. Entertainment? Nope. Presidential candidate? No way! Even avoiding Heinz catsup, soup and whatever...even Ore Ida potatoes.
Jeez! Come to think of it, a boycott of anything French is practically effortless!
Likewise. I check the "made in" tag on everything and will never buy French again if I can help it. Good on O'Reilly....
srm913,
Most of my acquaintances (self included) have never stopped boycotting the Frenchies and probably never will ..

I've been to Green Bay. I didn't see anything like this French morsel . . . |
Try American, much sweeter.
You may find some financial services more difficult to boycott - for example, Axa Insurance is a French company. They also own Alliance Capital Management.

It's even easier for me, since I've always been a teetotaler anyway.
Okay, now my stomach is growling...
Thanks a lot!

Not to down on ol' Sconnie's dairy production, but IIRC CA, recently overtook them in raw production of cheese/dairy...
Hating France is good for the heart.
Ellis Hennican. A liberal who thinks along the lines of Michael Moore. He's one of the liberals that really easy to dislike. He's an arrogant, in-your-face, you're-all-wrong leftie.
His name is Ellis something and he always trys to do his little giggle - he's the epitome of metrosexual. He's very annoying and when challenged his deal is to keep talking over the other guest - I want to rip off his fanny pack and smack him with it! Ann Coulter was on with him a week or so ago and you could tell she didn't like him at all but she cleaned the floor with him as she always does - she "Coulterized" him!
"I'm sure you can get versions from Wisconsin."
If not, look to California. Happy cows live in California.
Why? I think it's important where my money goes. I work hard for it, and I don't want to hand it to someone who will then use it to slap me in the face -- or worse, endanger my country. Besides, not buying something is a very small sacrifice to make.
I never stopped - and I never will. And I wasted 3 years in high school on French, so don't feel alone. But think of it this way - we always need someone who understands the language of the enemy....
