The saddest part about this is the amount of replies that have been generated. The most hurtful way to deal with people like him is to totally ignore him. The more attention he gets, the more valid he feels his argument is. Just as he has the right to think and say what he wants, we have the right to change the channel or, better yet, turn the TV off.

I used to watch his show (sorry to say), but he really doesn't believe in marriage. He has stated that very very clearly, no euphemisizms. Also, notice in the article how he compares the fanatical actions of the 9/11 hijackers to evangelicals. What a moron. I don't see evangelicals going around committing murder, or stoning women. Maybe some are zealous, but they behave themselves and act civilized. A tenet of Christianity is about being willing to suffer for your faith. Radical Islam seems to be about killing others for your faith. That is universe of difference between the two.

I often find that someone who spews bile like this has self-hatred as his core issue. I also suspect he's finding that his life is pretty empty, despite acheiving what he may have defined as "success."

No. His comments are not directed toward all Americans. His comments are about Christians being brain dead. Can you imagine the hue and cry if he were to make the same statements about Jews? The ADL would be down his throat.
