Vanity: Please help with my kid's science fair project

My seventh grader is doing a science fair project involving "handedness". She needs a larger sample for her data. If you would like to help, please do the following: clasp your hands together with your fingers intertwined. Report which thumb is on top and if you are right or left handed. Thanks for your help! Standing outside the grocery store didn't work, even with tootsie rolls as a thank you. People were too afraid we were selling something!

Fun fact: Next time you put on your socks try to remember which sock you put on first. Most people put on the left sock first. I must be extremely weird then! Right sock MUST go on first or I'm out of sorts all day! Same with the right shoe. Everything just feels wrong if I start with the left foot.

Right handed, left thumb on top. My 2 sons are
right handed but right thumb is on top.
My mother in law has always confused me. she puts the ring and middle finger of one hand between the ring and middle finger of the other so that the thumb and pinky of one hand are both on the outside, but I can not remember which hand it is.

PS It isn't going the way she was expecting!
What was she expecting? Hope it goes well; let us know the results.

I'm right handed and put my right thumb on top.

Tell me, where else can a parent go to get such incredibly helpful people in a crunch for a school science project! Thanks for the ping so I could become part of the scientific sample. (I'm right-right.)

Left thumb on top; right handed.
I've always fired rifles left-handed since I was a kid; probably since my left eye has always had the best (20-20) vision.
When I was in the Army I had to have a black plastic shell deflector on my M-16 or the ejecting casings would hit my face and burn my cheek. A pain sometimes, but even today trying to shoot a rifle right-handed seems awkward and unnatural.
I shoot a handgun right-handed always; sighting through my left eye. Talk about quirky!...
Anyways, good luck with the project!
