Sean was run off by posters who were over the top in their criticism. That says more about Sean's inability to handle criticism than it does FR. Hannity acts like an internet noob. Yeah it gets crazy in here but don't cry about it.

Free Republic Opinion Poll: Sean Hannity recently expressed on the air that something like 80% of the FReepers now hate him. I sincerely doubt that is correct. I think he was fed some misinformation. What say you?

Since the subject has come up on a few of these Hannity threads, could those of us who haven't been on FR since the beginning possibly get a bit of a primer on these horrible armageddon-like flamewars that used to occur?
There are certain names that get mentioned all the time in reference to this, but if you ask someone to explain, you'll generally not get an answer. Or is it taboo just to ask about it?
What can I say...I'm a curious gal.

"Sean was run off by posters who were over the top in their criticism."
Translation: Sean has thin skin and only likes a battle when he can control the outcome.

We love you, buddy... That's not the conclusion I get reading the recent threads about him. I notice that a lot of the Hannity haters are relative Newbees. Don't know if that's just a coincidence.
Maybe it's time for another poll.
Do you like Sean Hannity? Only answers are yes, no and no comment.

So, is this to drive folks to FR....or was it intended to drive up listenership for Sean? I'm thinkin' the answer to my question is "yes."
