The Gunny strikes again.
In the spring of 2004, Bob Newman, aka Gunny Bob of the "Gunny Bob Show" on Newsradio 850 KOA and a frequent guest analyst on the FOX News Channel, stunned the world by reporting that North Korea was developing a nuclear-capable intercontinental ballistic missile that could reach the United States.
In testimony before the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence on 15 Febraury 2005, Porter Goss, the Director of Central Intelligence (DCI), confirmed the Gunny's report.
And three years after the Gunny began reporting FBI surveillance of al Qaeda cells within the United States, FBI Director Robert Mueller, also in testimony before the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence on 15 February 2005, confirmed the Gunny's reports.
Gunny Bob's reports included details on precisely where and what types of targets the al Qaeda reconnaissance cells were collecting intelligence on, including potential targets in Houston, Los Angeles, Alaska and Philadelphia.
This is a surprise to anyone beyond the Michael Moore pale?
Good work, but Loose Lips.........
The first book I read after 9/11 was Steven Emerson's book "Jihad in America". It's a frightening look at the sleeper cells, complete with maps, by a man who has been tracking Islamic extremists in this country for over 12 years. He's one of the first people the FBI called after 9/11 and he has had to rent a huge warehouse to contain all the paperwork.
I believe it was this Emerson character who, after the OKC bombing, was one of the first to get in front of a camera and start screaming that the attack was conducted by Muslim jihadists.
Ahem.
Real analysts who have actually worked in the CT field for many years don't conduct themselves that way. When they make a public analysis, they cite facts, protect sources, never reveal classified intel, and consider think-tank rats, academicians and talking heads with little if any genuine operational time to be pretenders who would never have survived in the real world of specops and CT.
Has this ever been disproven?
Just how accurate are these missiles... any guess?
Michael Savage knew all this back in 1993. Everybody just stole it from him.
lol
I don't remember him getting in front of the cameras during the OKC matter. And if you haven't read the book The Third Terrorist by Jayna Davis which has been endorsed by James Woolsey, former CIA Director, who said we owe a debt of gratitude to Davis for bringing the truth about the Jihadist connections to OKC, then you are doing yourself, and Emerson, if he did as you suggested, a great dis-service.
Who hoo! You sir, by order of my self appointed self, are awarded the honour of the famous: VANITY POST OF THE WEEK. God bless you and all who sail on you!
Yeh, there is more to OKC/Murrah bombing than we will ever know. It got covered up much too quickly; similar to TWA 800.
[I remember the media commentators that morning. Their very first suppositions were 'Middle Eastern terrorism.' Then, about an hour afterward, they all changed their stories to, 'well, maybe we have to consider homegrown terrorism.' Funny, too, that a 'memo' came from 'high up' to bury any ME connection. Guess who was associated with that memo? Jamie Gorelick. Remember her? Remember who, Ashcroft revealed, helped build the wall between the CIA and FBI? Jamie Gorelick. Yeh. Much more happened in OKC than the public may ever know.]
It wasn't just supposition either in the first hours of the OKC bombing.
I was home that day and they had a photo on television of an Arab man seen running away from the scene by several survivors.
He looks exactly like the man identified in Jayna Davis's book who, coincidentally, was working at Logan Airport in the food handling business on 9/11. Yup. He left Oklahoma after that bombing and went to work at Logan where he told people, previous to 9/11, if anything ever happens here, I will be blamed for it.
I have recommended the book The Third Terrorist to some people in this town who doubted very strongly that Jihadists were behind the OKC bombing. After they read the book, every single one of them belives that jihadists helped McVeigh and Nichols. Every one of them. It's a must read.
Google 'Jayna Davis' for OKC bombing info and ties to Iraqi intelligence, who were tied to the first WTC bombing in 93.
Just how accurate does a nuclear armed missle need to be?
Close is good enough I would think
I've heard that their guidance systems are still primitive.
For all of you conspiracy lovers out there, I thank you. You make the best callers on my shows. When one of you gets on, my producer plays the X Files theme as a bed under the call. So far, none of those callers have realized the gag.
Me? I live in the real world and have no interest in moving to Fantasyland. However, I do hear the fish are all HUGE there!
I especially love how the story goes that a ship filled with sailors is somehow staying absolutely quiet regarding their shooting down a jetliner. That's a real knee-slapper!
PS: The CIA really DID have Princess Diana whacked because she found out Elvis is driving a cab in Miami.
Jabba:
The truth is out there.
Now go gobble a frog.
Please provide me with genuine evidence of Woolsey endorsing this person.
Like I would ever call your show. I've never even heard of you before.
