A Day in the Life of President Bush (photos): 2.16.05

President Bush traveled to New Hampshire, continuing his "educate America" plan regarding Social Security reform.

Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan spoke before the Senate Banking Committee hearing, urging a go-slow approach on personal Social Security accounts, saying that while he embraces the idea central to President Bush's proposed overhaul, he is concerned about stability in financial markets. [I translate this to be good news.]

Dr. Rice testified in the Senate regarding the Secretary of State's budget.

I went to a fundraiser for the president in Phoenix. It was the day before the third debate and still quite hot. The event was held in a large tent outside with very little ventilation and it was quite hot. But the President made light of the situation and I think he joked that he should end his speech soon since there was enough hot air in the tent already.

He's really does just put everybody at ease and tried to connect with them on some level instead of just reciting the same ol thing. it was really neat to see him just winging some of it.

I wish I had good photoshop skills and a fancy version of that software. I'd devise a graphic of kerry sitting at his desk with drops of sweat spurting off his brow, chaos all around, papers stacked everywhere, Timmy Russert holding an unsigned 180 and shoving a mic into kerry's mug asking him, "Now WHEN are you going to have your Plan ready?" sort of thing, with a 2008 calendar on the wall.

Not only that, but he still hasn't told what HIS PLAN is.

Ah, yes. Kerry's "plan." He may not want to fess up to it on national TV, but his plan is to turn tail and run out of Iraq immediately. Then he'd give France, Germany, Russian and the UN the green light to move in and set up their own puppet government. For good measure, he'd re-sign the International Criminal Court treaty even though he knows it wouldn't get ratified by the Republican-led senate.

After all that, Kerry would take a deep breath before kow-towing to anything North Korea wanted. Oh, and he'd probably sell the Iranians technology to build nuclear plants in exchange for a piece of paper that says Iran would use it strictly to produce electricity.

He'd do all that within the first few months of taking office, then spend the rest of his term kissing the butts of every international Leftist on the planet.

Thank God that man was not elected. Now if someone would just clue him in on that fact, we'd all be much happier.

I don't plan to watch to find out.. it wouldn't bother me so much if I didn't think it wouldn't hurt the nice man who started this website. I mean at one time or another we have all been eaten by someone on this site, that's what happens when people express opinion. We are all going to have opinions and not everyone is going to agree. Why did Sean do that? It was to publicize his own site. He could have done that without attacking this one and not at the expense of Jim Robinson (someone I admire). I no longer admire Sean, he is going to have to work to get that back. I know he's human and not perfect, but his ego is getting way too big for him.

That's funny. The man really does have a great sense of humor, plus a firm view of the people as his peers. He never, ever talks down to the American people like some politicians we won't name.
