A Day in the Life of President Bush (photos): 2.16.05

President Bush traveled to New Hampshire, continuing his "educate America" plan regarding Social Security reform.

Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan spoke before the Senate Banking Committee hearing, urging a go-slow approach on personal Social Security accounts, saying that while he embraces the idea central to President Bush's proposed overhaul, he is concerned about stability in financial markets. [I translate this to be good news.]

Dr. Rice testified in the Senate regarding the Secretary of State's budget.

Enjoy your visit to Sanity Island!

Hey Guys!!! I just got back from a Get Motivated seminar in Phoenix. We got to see General Tommy Franks, Rudy Guilian, Zig Zigler, Jerry Lewis, and Joe Montana. It was such a blast.

Tommy Franks is my absolute favorite and he is so funny. Rudy Guilian also gave a great speech about his experiences throughout 9/11 and his views on leadership. It was such a great and uplifting experience.

Typical DUmmie-speak.

I never go over to DU, so am not familiar with the, ummm, level of their discourse. However, pegging this troll at around a 2nd grade level was being generous. The troll caught me on a good day, LOL!

Thanks for the dose...loved the joke about your Grandpa......Mike makes a similar joke...when he travels by car I always ask him when he gets home if he's tired....his response is that he takes a nap on the way home..

I was so dissappointed in Sean. I believe a true saying applies to him "Pride goeth before the fall." Sean's ego is getting a little too big.

sforange has gone the way of the short-lived fruit fly

LOL! FR's moderators are quick when it comes to killing fruit flies. Back in the 1980's, the State of California spend millions spraying insecticide all over the place to get rid of a fruit fly infestation, and it took them years.

To: GretchenM; All
Hi everyone, I found a few more photos:

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice speaks to the press during a press conference with Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit at the State Department, Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2005 in Washington. The United States pulled its ambassador from Syria on Tuesday, expressing 'profound outrage' over the assassination of a Lebanese leader who had protested Syrian influence in his country.

I love that outfit, I love yellowy greens. :)

Don't mess with me, Biden, or I'll have to open up a can on you.

Exactly! The woman is not someone to be trifled with by the likes of Biden, Dorgan, Kennedy, Boxer and company.

I seldom go over there, either, and never on a full stomach. Too depressing!

This is the 1st time I got to see one in action..usually when I get to a thread they have already been deleted. I stamp my foot and get mad cause I missed the excitement. I never knew what the abuse button was for, but that is nice to know.
