Look you really do not want a critique of these wars from me except Afghanistan which all I can say is thank you, but most of the others my opinion is not that of yours and would truly offend a French man and that is not the point(the exception maybe because of lack of my knowledge is Korea).....
I know you love your country and do not want to understand why we as Americans could have turned so cold hearted toward France, especially with the anti-Amnerican propaganda and European superiority you are fed everyday, but if you are honest and actually listen to what your leaders say and do and put it into perspective about how much we have done for you and Europe as a whole out of friendship and what is morally right since the turn of the last century all the way through the cold war, most Americans had no clue you were anything more than a very trusted friend until the last few years. Your leaders did a good job in slapping them into very hard and quick into reality.
It is one thing to find an enemy working against you or one you do not know much about working against you but to find out that your trusted friend who your grandfather and great grandfathers fought to free and died doing so (when they could have stayed isolationist and left Europe to its own destruction)not to mention all of our tax money spent keeping Europe out of communist hands for 40 years while they built their socialist systems, stabbing you in the back when you call on them for help for the first time you truly need it???? It then becomes not so hard then to understand why Americans are not buying French wine in great numbers if you are honest.
Madam, please be assured I did not brought all these wars to lord it over you. I just wanted to underscore that, although your media and our media can and does say otherwise daily, the soldiers of our two republics have fought nearly every modern conflict together, and have never, never been sent to battle against each other.
