CNN's Bruce Morton Urges End of Boycott of French Products: "Drink their Wine, Eat French Fries"
Inside Politics - CNN | governsleast governsbest

CNN liberal girly-man Bruce Morton just completed a segment on Inside Politics the point of which was to encourage Americans to stop boycotting French products.

His pitch came in the course of a segment demonstrating - through poll results and conciliatory remarks by Condi Rice - that American attitudes toward France are thawing.

He concluded his piece, standing at a bar with many bottles of (presumably French) wine in evidence, by instructing us "so have a glass of French wine, or eat a French fry - they're good!"

Thanks, Brucie, but when it comes to my personal economic foreign policy, I'll take guidance from my own principles, not from over-the-hill liberal hacks like you.

Yes, if all the people who watched that Bruce Morton piece drank French wine, it wouldn't make a bit of difference because most Americans are also boycotting CNN!

Pound sand Brucie-boy, don't tell US what to do!

You want to kiss the asses of the cowardly and dishonorable French, have at it buster.

As for REAL Americans?

We know who our friends are, and France is not one of them, regardless of Secretary of State Condi's nice words recently.

That's her job, to be nice to countries who may not be all that nice to us.

Now Secretary of Defense Rumsfeld?

I'm still hoping he gets the opportunity to recommend 'Operation French Freedom' and overthrow that Baathist regime headed up by Jacques ChIraq.

I'm waiting for the French leader to crawl on hands and knees across Washington D.C.

Lol, reminds me of Braveheart: "Before we let you leave, your commander must cross that field, present himself before this army, put his head between his legs, and kiss his own arse."

France has nothing to offer but their history.

They are arrogant.

They are infested with the Muslim scourge.

They are dead to me.

I will end my personal boycott of French products once France agrees to send Laeticia Casta to my motel room.

"You forgot to add the glass part."

You mean the broken glass soaked in vinegar and salt?

Aren't Australian wines supposed to the be hot new thing? They've been better friends to us than the French.

I'm waiting for the French leader to crawl on hands and knees across Washington D.C.

Sorry, that's not enough for me.

As I've said before, the only thing that would satisfy me after the past few years of French slanders, lies, treachery, and greed posing as moral superiority, would be if the French people shed as much blood on behalf of America as Americans have shed over the years on behalf of the French.

They have a long way to go. Just visit Flanders Fields and Normandy Beach. Talk won't do it. Apologies won't do it. We have had an asymetrical relationship with the French for 300 years. We give and they take. Let's have a little payback from them.

Actually the name French Fries is american. Pommes Fritz were invented in Paris in the 1840s, wich are of course fried potatoes. We called them French Fried potatoes and later shortened it to french fries.

They are not an american invention.
