Is it a "dry" or "juice" bar?

Full bar. It doesn't make a difference in DC.

But who the hell goes to strip clubs in Upstate NY anyways? Toronto and Montreal have the best strip clubs in a 4 hour radius ANYways, and especially in Montreal, those girls are dirty and will do ANYTHING.

I've been to strip clubs in Syracuse and one REALLY sleazy one near Ithaca ($5 lap dances, yikes). I grew up in Toronto, so it was a massive disappointment for me to encounter upstate NY strip clubs with all their weird rules about drinking, nudity etc. The strip clubs in border towns like Niagara and St. Catharines are a good time, too.

NYC strip clubs are excellent, but incredibly pricey.

I've, ahem, heard that some Montreal strip clubs have "menues" of services that the girls are willing to provide.

Never heard of him. Must be one of the new no-talent dimwits that could not hold a candle to the rockers of the 70's-90's.

Kid Rock's okay. He's also a big Bush backer.

The same voice and an indestructable copy of “Girls, Girls, Girls” by Motley Crue.

Ah, the girls HATE that song before too long.

It was not an indefinate period of time, Being liberal is enough of a crime for me to be locked up for two days and told to go home.

You're fortunate it wasn't me. I'd have packed the liberals on a cattle car and send their scrawny asses to Laz's Concentration Kampf for Liberals.

They'd have been worked briefly, then executed in the gas chambers. Their bodies would have been taken, their organs harvested, and their meat turned into tasty beef jerky for Republicans.

Republicans will eat the children of liberals.

"Maybe the DJ made a remark or played music derogatory to the President and the War issue"

I'm willing to bet you are right on the money. The DJ probably wanted to play some anti-American scumbag stuff like Green Day or any one of the many other "tolerant" and "diverse" "bands".
And as far as the flag thing, sure it was a bone-headed move, but I believe unintentional in trying to disgrace our flag.

Yeah, nobody goes to strip clubs in Rochester unless it's as a joke. There's one really nasty biker bar called "The Barrell Of Dolls" aka Barrell of Pigs, etc. (insert your own nasty noun). Canada rules, however. Toronto has the Brass Rail and others.

Montreal is a different story. They have a red-light district complete with hookers and everything. And while it's not legal there, it might as well be. When I went to Montreal with my friend from Sweden, I visited friends in town and they gave me a list of places to check out. My buddy and his wife are tattoo artists in Montreal and know just about everybody. He asks "are you going to go to the strip club? I can call the manager at the best place in town and tell him to have some girls waiting there for ya!" Thanks but no thanks, I said, we just wanted to hit the bars and get hammered.

But the cab dropped us off right in front of the place he was going to send us to anyways. TOTAL red-light district! There were strippers OUTSIDE trying to get guys to come in, and hookers walking the streets talking to the cops patroling the neighborhood. It was another world.

Toronto is one of my favorite cities in the whole world, but I think if I'd been to Montreal more than once, it would surpass Toronto easily. Lots of good shopping, lots of good eats, and good nightlife too.

Is the old Half Dollar still around? That was actually a pretty fun club for a while there.....near Kodak so they needed to run pretty girls....

Ah, the Rail. Haven't been there in a while, but I'm going up to T.O. in April for a bachelor party. Looking forward to hitting the Rail then.

I've been to Montreal a few times. A lot of my friends from high school ended up at McGill. Montreal's cool, but the whole French/English cultural divide can be a little weird. But, like you said, you can't beat the strip clubs.

I'm off to New Orleans with my wife at the end of the month for her birthday. We're looking forward to comparing Nawlins strip clubs to what places like Toronto and NYC can offer.

"He digs Bush and NASCAR. It's about time somebody stood up and complained about the overuse of lame eighties glam rock in our nation's titty bars. The revolution has begun."

Call out the instigators
Because there’s something in the air
We’ve got to get together sooner or later
Because the revolution’s here, and you know it’s right
And you know that it’s right
