Through lower offshore wages and products we are in the short term o.k.. The market demands we be catching up with us. Our prosperity is at this time artificial. The long term ramifications is what bothers me.

Is it not one of the purposes of government to protect me from foreign nations? Why should I be forced into poverty by being forced to compete with labor rates that would be illegal in the USA?
