Cats have done it. Don't you watch Animal Planet? And why the heck didn't those women get the dog out of the house? I would not have left my dogs or cats in the house.
There was a Mother cat a while back that rescued her kittens from a burning building. She fought her way back and fourth through the fire to fetch each and every one of those kittens. Even with both ears brunt off she went back in until she saved all her babies.
I figured the humane society would put her to sleep she was so bad off. But they didn't. They gave her all the special care they could. She got well and some lucky cat lover adopted her.

Fire Dept. Honors Extraordinary Cat
Feline Honored For Saving Family From Fire
Wrong ;)
That was the cat that finished a NYT cross word puzzle while the fire fighters were coming to their rescue, wasn't it?
Way to go, doggie. He really is man's best friend, no slight intended to cat owners.
Aw, what's the big deal? My cats wake me up three or four times a night, and there isn't even a fire.
Man's best friend bump
SCARLETT!
My Mom was the head of HR at NSAL when she was there...she was a special cat, and fully recovered from her injuries. Most of her hair has grown back and you can hardly tell she was burned (last my Mom heard).
Take a closer look at the dog.
Body and head shape match.
Ears are full prick, not unusual. (4 out 18 pups that I am aware of have full prick)
If this dog had bitten these women, I know damn well what the headlines would be screaming.
I hate the media almost as much as I hate leftist politicians.
Good dog!
Cat used to catch pigeons for him to eat. In gratitude he had their portrait painted together.
At a time when my heart was really bad I had something on the stove and went in my bedroom and flopped on my bed just to take a load off my feet but was so tired I fell immediately to sleep. I woke a while later to a loud persistent pounding on my bedroom door. It was my cat Mathias or better known as Tiggy Tiger. He had never before or since pounded on a door. I got up and opened the door and smelled lots of smoke and went into the kitchen and pulled the pan off the burner. The kitchen was full of smoke. Tiggy Tiger may have saved my life. The interesting thing was that Tiggy was a very problemed cat that many people would not have kept. It took a lot of time and patience to tame him. We had found him and he must have been abused before we got him. He was like a roaring lion for a time and he bit large wholes in the rest of the cats that would end up very infected. Finally we prayed for deliverance's for him and in the name of Jesus cast a demon out of him and he stopped biting the other cats. The interesting thing is that at one time I had a vision of him with a little gold crown on his head and told my family and friends that I had had a clear vision of none other then Mathias with a gold crown on his head, of all cats. Years later after he saved me I think it is how he earned that gold crown, for saving one of God's kids.
Folks, what we have here is an opportunity.

Your piece of February 14th has been brought to my attention. Bam
looks like a pit bull terrier. If so, you should give this dog and
his breed the credit they deserve for being loyal, brave and loving.
The media are quick enough to jump on "Pit bull mauls", even though
they're frequently wrong about the breed of dog. Let's see some
balanced reporting about "Pit bull terrier loves and risks life to
save". This type of dog has walked a hard road through history,
battling media misinformation and abuse by vicious humans.
Responsible, balanced reporting would go a long way towards
correcting the public misapprehension about the character of the pit
bull terrier.
I feel that way about the Ferocious Feline Bebop Trio and the Dread Boston Salty.
Cats are not publicity hounds.
Yeah?
Well, when I see ol' Blue brush his teeth after licking his privates, I might believe that.
