My daughter enjoys the disney film adaptation of E.B. White's Charlotte's Web. Early in the film, the son lets a frog loose at the breakfast table and a pancake lands on Wilbur's, the protaganist pig/hog, head.
It appears that pancakes on animal's heads has been enjoyed for generations.
