Do you perceive CNN as having a left-wing bias?

I think that you have all over reacted. Why would you assume that just because Hanoi Jane is involved and just because years of liberal bias have been shown in the past, that there could possibly be any liberal bias there now? You're all living in the past...of, say, 15 minutes ago... well, I'm confident that things are different now...
Right?
I perceive that your beeber is stuned.
85% Yes.
DOH!
ummm.... yeah.
a friend recently convinced me to check out the video "OutFoxed", which is intended to not only show that FNC has a conservative bias, but intends to paint the channel as engaging in bad journalism.
sure... the video convinced me that FNC has a conservative bias. but I was already of that opinion. my response was: so what? is it okay for CNN to have a liberal bias? if so, then its okay for FNC to have a conservative one.
the problem is that the liberals in this "documentary" do not see CNN and other mainstream news outlets as being liberally biased.
the video complained about a millionaire with a political agenda having control over so many media outlets... can anybody say "Ted Turner"?
they also complained that FNC would send out memos to the anchors pertaining to "stories of the day" and the station's editorial position on one topic or another. Doesn't anybody remember that after 9/11 the anchors on CNN would NOT call the attackers "terrorists"? After the beltway snipers were caught, CNN would not (for several days, at least) mention that they were muslims, and would not call them by their legal names because they indicated that the snipers were... well... muslims. seems to me that CNN not only has an editorial position on the subject of muslims, but also that everybody there appears to have gotten the memo!
so I watched this "OutFoxed" video in extreme amusement... thinking "so what". They're just complaining that FNC does the same stuff CNN does... but with the Right bias.
:-)
That's a question for tomorrow's poll.
I quit watching after he was spinning what Rather did wasn't anything different than what the President did with the WMD in Iraq. I was already torqued about how the bloviator treated what the SwiftBoat vets were saying about Kerry, but that piece of defense for Rather was the last straw of me listening to his "the spin stops here." It certainly doesn't.
Doesn't make me uneasy. Just don't like the guy. He's all about himself and he's too pushy with guests. Simple as that. If you call that uneasy...so be it. I call it free choice to watch what I chose.
I voted . . . but . . . I've never seen such a HUGE photo of a host (or anybody else for that matter, on ANY site. it was my first time to Bill's site, and wow, what self-glorification.
I'm not here to waste my time arguing with you about anyone much less the bloviator so...this conversation is terminated.
It should be the "no-torque" zone.He has plenty of spin, but there's no torque.
No the spin does not stop there. Bloviator is a big blowhard. He thinks he's a tough guy but deflates when interviewing the opposition. He caves and I just don't like him nor his personality.
lol, yep, that's surely true!
I don't believe the results of the poll have been released yet. I suspect the 85% Yes you're seeing is actually the results of the previous question, "Should Ward Churchill be fired"?
Qwinn
Ah, I missed that. Thanks.
This one should be 100%.
