AIDS viruses isolated from two individuals are being studied to determine whether either might be the source of a rare and potentially more aggressive form of HIV .... resistant to 19 of the 20 licensed antiretroviral drugs. ...The two male contacts in New York, only one of whom is cooperating with the investigation, are among hundreds of men with whom the New York man told health officials he has had sex in recent weeks while using crystal methamphetamine. The man who sparked the investigation is cooperating with city health officials but apparently does not know the names of all his partners.

Yup, the only difference from heteros is the gender of their partners.

Wow.... a 100 sexual partners in a few weeks? That's more than most heterosexual men will be lucky to score in a lifetime.

If the history of medical science has taught us anything, it's that sleeping with huge numbers of people is not a good idea. It's amazing he "only" has AIDS.

I cannot fathom 100's of partners....much less in "recent weeks."
It didn't even say years -- it said "weeks."
Surely this cannot be correct, can it?
I don't even know hundreds of people!

They still haven't figured out if the strain is different or if the guy is. It very well could be that this guy is just naturally more susceptible to the HIV virus than other people. I think they jumped the gun announcing this, but a good scare in these people might do a little good.

If we don't put a stop to that BS in the schools. it will become normal, healthy (from a non healthy standpoint of course) and natural

Even if I knew 100 people I certainly would not feel the urge to have sex with each and everyone of them.

The gays don't either.....one doesn't have to "know" a person at a gay orgy. Those boys plug into anything that moves.
