It's strange....we of the West also went through the 14th century, yet we progressed while they remained stagnant. Perhaps it's their religion, perhaps there's something in the water, perhaps it's from having sand in your shoes all the time. Whatever the reason, ours became the demonstrably superior culture and so it has become our responsibility to bring enlightenment to those who so desperately need it. This is only one way that we show our humanity, one of the many things that so many in the Middle East appear to have lost.

14th century? What are you saying? That's blasphemy. The 14th century was a time of great heresy. No, the great truths of Islamic Science are from a purer, more perfect age: the 7th century.
