2005 CPAC FReeper Attendees!

FReepers will be congregating at the exhibit hall at 3:00pm to set up the booth. After dinner we will meet again in one of the lounges at the Marriott across the street. We don't know yet which one will meet our demands, so you may have to scout around some. The facilities at the Trade Center appear to be lean and may be overtaxed with the number of people that will be there, if we can find a place to use for breaks, lunch, etc., we'll figure that out when we get there.

If you can't meet for the boothe set up or later Wed night, meet at the booth Thursday.!

Looking forward to meeting/seeing everyone again!

I will be coming in Thursday and leaving Sunday with my husband and meeting up with my niece. Looking forward to spending some time with my fellow freepers.

Thanks, Bob. We will be going to that WH "briefing" Wednesday afternoon, and I'm not sure what our schedule is after that. We'll see you ASAP sometime on Wednesday: probably late afternoon/early evening...

I am headed for the train station soon for my 5.5 hour trip. I look forward to seeing the Reagan building and staying in the beautiful JWM hotel. I look forward to meeting some of you this afternoon or tonight.

A few of us were in the lounge at the Marriott. I was facing the stairs and saw a man come down, go by us, and with his friends, he sat at a near-by booth. I thought he looked like John O'Neill, and asked others if they thought so too. Turned out it was!! One Freeper went to him to confirm and he came to where we were ---- to lots of applause and handshaking and pictures! He had another Swift-boat Vet with him (??name??) and they were very gratious to us! What a thrill!!

Waited for you outside the EEOB after the briefing--briefly. The wind and the cold forced me to dash asap to a warm building. Wasn't prepared for the 20 degree temp change. Brrrr!

Had dinner with local friends and their new baby this evening after wandering around the conference center to find the registration area. They hid it well!

Sorry, NautiNurse... we were looking for you, too. We all got separated because of the small elevator, I guess.

LOL... our group in the elevator got off on the wrong floor in the EEOB, so we did a little "tour" of the place. We ended up going outside in that gated area not far from the West Wing and "the Swamp" where the media do their White House reports! Oh well, we're conservatives... the SS knew we wouldn't cause any trouble! :-)
