Sigh. Some freepers are just too literal. Sad.
Just guessing but it would seem appropriate in a mass casualty situation to send a trauma surgeon on scene as part of the response protocol. The severely wounded might stand a better chance of survival that way.
Ok, this thread is still alive, so I will ask a follow-up question. TROP=the religion of peace, got that, but is this just short-hand or some organized off-shoot group?
I went to the FR dictionary here and spent some time in the reference section of the Welcome Desk, but I couldn't find anything.
Is a euphemism for Islam.
Thanks, that is what I figured but want to double-check
The Religion Of Peace: TROP.
That said, I bet the Kingston event was either a druggie shooting or a personal grudge.
Religion Of Peace My A**
Welcome.
Thank you. The reference section is a really great place to visit.
Random shooting, one shot in the leg - will it reach 1000 posts? Stay tuned...

'What the hell is an "assault type rifle"???'
heckifiknow....ask cnn. lol
I heard assault weapon.......but then again, whenever there is a reported shooting, assault weapon is always the firearm of choice.
Funny they never follow-up with a report on the actual firearm.......
Update
Kingston, New York-AP) Feb. 13, 2005 - A lone gunman opened fire with an assault rifle Sunday inside a crowded mall in upstate New York.
Authorities say he wounded one person before running out of ammunition and being subdued by employees. The gunman began shooting inside the Hudson Valley Mall in Ulster, nearly 90 miles north of New York City.
Police say the 24-year-old gunman went into a Best Buy store and started firing. When he ran out of ammunition, he was apprehended by mall workers.
An Army recruiter was shot in the leg, but a National Guard spokesman says he was not the target of the attack. Another person was injured in the hand, but police say the injury was not a gunshot wound.
The mall was evacuated after the shooting and closed down.
