My first response to your's didn't post correctly. HTML gremlin strikes again. It was supposed to say:
HUGE SIGH, because I can't resist him either.
That's cool! Laura will put her mark on the WH like Jackie Kennedy and some other first ladies have done through the years.
I know what you mean. He may be 58, but the man is a hunk, in a dignified sort of way.
The president should send you a Valentine for all your hard work!
Grin. He doesn't know I'm alive, but I suppose dreaming is OK, LOL!
Are y'all talking about the new pastry Chef, whose first task was to make the huge chocolate White House for Christmas, and who the First Lady introduced at the First Ladies Presser for the 2004 wh decorations?
Man, he didn't last long. Must have wanted to do things HIS way, and he forgot who he worked for. Oh well, doesn't bother me a bit. I know that the SS guys say that this First Lady is the nicest, kindest, gentlest First Lady and I believe them, and not some haughty pastry chef, for Pete's sake. (If I have the "right guy?? The new pastry chef?)
The former pastry chef, whose names has escaped me, is traveling the country as well as doing publicity stops for his book and so far, I've only seen him say nice things about his former boss. He has said that he appreciated the challenge of fixing lower calorie and lower fat pastries for the First Couple, but that he was always allowed to "go all out" for any functions. Does that sound like hardship duty? Or that he couldn't ever do things that he wanted?
Happy Valentine's Day to all of our happily married couples. I wish you a nice pleasant evening with your spouses and want to thank you for saving all the special pics of the First Couple where we get these rare glimspes into their special relationship. I'm hoping that 2005 "cooperates" and I will be blessed to find that kind of love again.
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY Y'ALL!!!
TNT
Yes, he is. He's the kind of guy you'd love to get to know--real well (smile).
But Mr. Oh sent our daughter in England a big bouquet of flowers today. He's a good Daddy!
OH, don't worry about not responding. Heck, I do the same things and have to go back to see if I responded or if I MISSED a comment. BUT...back to Dubya. Sigh...What a guy!
Just read on Yahoo Liz Cheney gone back to the State Department after taking a year off to assist her father re-election campaign

Thank you! The only place I would even think of using it is on FR somewhere! And I added it to my GW collection that I use for my screensaver.
Thanks. I'll check them out tomorrow AM, when I'll be back. I'm getting off the PC again, to fix dinner and won't be back. My back can't take much time on here at all, unfortunately.
Snugs, dear heart - I've looked at some of the times you've said, "Good night" and if I'm adding the 3 hours from PST, and the 5 hours from EST, to get your time in England, sometimes you are saying "Good Night" when it's 5 AM your time.
How do you do it? Get to bed at 5 AM and then get up to go to work by 9 AM? I'd be a basket case. I know this place is addicting, but are you getting your proper rest? I'm only concerned for your health, because I know how hard it is to leave this backyard fence here at the Dose. It's such a lovely bunch of people. I feel like I know them all, although only several of us have ever met, face to face.
Cya tomorrow!

I have a page from Rush's newsletter on my bulletin board--a photo of Mr. and Mrs. Bush during the 2000 campaign. They are exiting the Bush/Cheney campaign plane and there is a rainbow in the background. On that very same day Al Gore was exiting his during a thunderstorm, I believe! Seems to me Rush said it was a sign from God. I have never seen it anywhere else--it's an incredible shot.

Hope to catch you later
