Dont forget godless.. Look my mother raised seven kids, all the exact same way! and some of us got into trouble, and some of us did not. Some went to school and got Engineering Degrees and some did not finish High school. You cant look at *your* neighbors, and *your* friends and come to any valid conclusion with the scope that you just did.

Yes they are Godless, as was I and the last few generations of my family. My mom, uncle, grandparents and great grandparents were (and are) very good folks. It's hard to preach the gospel to folks who have had a good secular life.
I should say I was also a schoolteacher for many years and observed many families and my judgement about parenting is also based on that experience. You notice many times that when families have trouble, they try "catch-up" parenting. You can't do that and offer them a quick fix at the church youth group or a wilderness camp. God must be within one's own heart, not injected into them from the outside.
