His lawyer, Claude de Boosere- Lepidi, said in court last week that there was a network of U.N. personnel who had sex with underage girls and that Bourguet had engaged in similar activity in a previous U.N. posting in the Central African Republic.Quite the defense attorney....

"The staffer, Didier Bourguet, 41, is facing charges of sexual abuse and rape in France. His lawyer, Claude de Boosere- Lepidi, said in court last week that there was a network of U.N. personnel who had sex with underage girls and that Bourguet had engaged in similar activity in a previous U.N. posting in the Central African Republic." Incredible! Imagine if lawyers said things like that about their clients in American courts!

In one frame, a tear can be seen rolling down the cheek of a victim.Hang em high. I would actually like to see this picture on a cover of a book exposing the U.N. for the vile scum that they are.

It says 20/20 showed them. Has any one seen them? Why aren't they plastered all over tv.
Hell, panties on the heads of prisoners is considered abuse.

The U.N. has no power to prosecute peacekeepers or civilians IN other words, impunity for UN personnel, but they want to rule the world with One World Gov't

Will this get as much attention as the Abu Ghraib prison photos? I'm not holding my breath.

I'm shocked, SHOCKED that UN staffers would engage in these kinds of activities. Seriesly, I'm surprised that they're getting caught.

ABC News' "20/20" program showed pictures taken from the computer of a French U.N. transport worker. The hard drive reportedly contained thousands of photos of him with hundreds of girls. In one frame, a tear can be seen rolling down the cheek of a victim. UN-believable.

We watched a Bruce Willis movie about the genocide in Nigeria called, "Tears of the Sun," the other night. I think that the movie is a fairly accurate depiction of what is going on in multiple places in Africa. I highly recommend the movie.
The UN needs to be disbanded. It is beyond reforming. Peace keeping missions need to be formed on an as needed basis by coalitions of the willing and funded on a pay as you go basis. You can't trust bureaucrats with the kind of money that would be involved.
