Freerepublic and "MD4BUSH" mentioned on WBAL now! The radio program will replay conversation on the scandal with a Freeper shortly.
You bet. :^)
I hate when that happens.
Although in this case, a little political reflux would make this 1.1/2 party state's politics a little more interesting.
I hadn't thought about an official investigation. Thanks!
Thanks for the link.
bump!
No problem
You bet. :^)
Thank you both foro the links and the heads up. The program is fascinating.
I bet the 10am block with the Governor taking questions from listeners is going to be even more so..............
The Governor's show is always fascinating. He does a very good job.

You're welcomed.G'mornin'! :^D
I plan on making a point of listening. For a change I've actually got the sound working properly on my computer, I can't bring the station in on my receiver in the house, only the car radio....and I don't feel like sitting in the car for an hour!!!
Good morning!!
And I can't wait 'till the $h*t hits the fan when that happens!!
Have they played the tape or interview with the Freeper yet?
If so, what was said?
If not, please ping us when the interview starts and summarize it incase our computers can't pick it up.
Thanks
I wonder if there's been an uptick in new FR memberships from Maryland?
the program host and station manager have both been on air stating that they were first approached with the rumor by a "Democrat operative" associated with Montgomery County politics. This would imply a regional rival for the governor's race INSIDE the Democrat Party. In other words, DEMOCRATS were spreading the rumors about O'Malley. The radio program mentioned that there has been some contact between FR (Jim Robinson was mentioned)and the governor's office of Maryland which is doing an internal investigation of the scandal. The implication was that there is some information to be passed regarding this.
I can't verify these details. But that is what was discussed on the radio program (WBAL.com). 29 posted on 02/12/2005 5:14:30 AM PST by HowlinglyMind-BendingAbsurdity

If they nail the identity of the troll who engineered this and it turns out to be a connected liberal politico or journalist, this will be BIG. It seems like they sat on this story (the allegations of infidelity about the liberal Democrat mayor) UNTIL they could somehow nail it on a Republican staffer in the governor's office. To spin the story as "Republican dirty tricks" rather than liberal sleaze. 37 posted on 02/12/2005 5:27:22 AM PST by HowlinglyMind-BendingAbsurdity
Claytay: "No name mentioned yet but JR said he is waiting for a subpoena because he has done some research about who MD4Bush really is."
Nic: "And I can't wait 'till the $h*t hits the fan when that happens!!"

Jim Rob: "I've got some very interesting information for the governor's investigation regarding the Maryland Democrat Party dirty trickster that setup Steffen and the Washington Post reporter er, Democrat operative that was working in concert with him. Almost hoping to receive a subpoena."
Whoever the "Democrat operative" was, he or she may have underestimated the reach of FR.
Don't mess with the Pajama Brigades!
