Have they played the tape or interview with the Freeper yet?
If so, what was said?
If not, please ping us when the interview starts and summarize it incase our computers can't pick it up.
Thanks
the program host and station manager have both been on air stating that they were first approached with the rumor by a "Democrat operative" associated with Montgomery County politics. This would imply a regional rival for the governor's race INSIDE the Democrat Party. In other words, DEMOCRATS were spreading the rumors about O'Malley. The radio program mentioned that there has been some contact between FR (Jim Robinson was mentioned)and the governor's office of Maryland which is doing an internal investigation of the scandal. The implication was that there is some information to be passed regarding this.
I can't verify these details. But that is what was discussed on the radio program (WBAL.com). 29 posted on 02/12/2005 5:14:30 AM PST by HowlinglyMind-BendingAbsurdity

If they nail the identity of the troll who engineered this and it turns out to be a connected liberal politico or journalist, this will be BIG. It seems like they sat on this story (the allegations of infidelity about the liberal Democrat mayor) UNTIL they could somehow nail it on a Republican staffer in the governor's office. To spin the story as "Republican dirty tricks" rather than liberal sleaze. 37 posted on 02/12/2005 5:27:22 AM PST by HowlinglyMind-BendingAbsurdity
