Catholic and pro-life activist ......... "Catholicism is oppressive. I've become less shackled since I've discovered the gift of the Goddess. I'm much closer to earth and animals. My God was too small, microscopic. I feel I've gotten reeducated about spirituality." She also said, "Get rid of the Roman collar, clericalism, the pope. Jesus would be the first one to say so."

There are many ways to describe this woman but "Catholic" is not one of them.

"pro-abortion nuns"?

That's an oxymoron. They're frustrated, mentally anguished women disguised as nuns.

In addition, Sister Jane has been quoted as saying, "Catholicism is oppressive.

The first question that comes to mind is why are they allowed to remain when their views differ from christianity so much? Would Jesus really advocate legalized abortion?

"Living Non-Violence in a Violent World"

Do they think abortion is a non-violent procedure? Have they ever SEEN an abortion? There is nothing non-violent about it.

Time to flood the Church in question with complaints. Here is my two cents to St Patrick:

It has come to my attention your Church, St. Patrick is hosting a few pro-abortion nuns, Sisters Brigid and Jane McDonald, CSJ on Feb. 19. I understand they will be speaking on "Living Non-Violence in a Violent World". News services have reported these...um...nuns as advocating the evil of abortion as well as devotion to a Goddess. If these reports are true your Church is in danger of being entangled with their sin.

A church that hosts and fetes such evil and provides them with a platform to sponsor their sin is not a Catholic Church. Temple prostitutes, child sacrifice and fornication with other gods was a practice that caused severe problems for the Hebrews, scripture provides ample proof of the consequences of these sorts of things. The long suffering Jews, who have suffered long after they gave up such things, are not enough to convince some it seems.

I do hope I have been mislead, please tell me these people are to be denounced in your pulpit or they are going to publicly recant their errors, but reassure me only if the reports are false. Please look into these reports before dismissing them out of hand. A public recanting would be lovely and very Christian. It is Lent and I can think of no better time of the year.

If these sisters think this way, how did they get into the habit of being Catholic?
