Another reason that unions suck. People that feel they need to organize to get anything are unmotivated, irresponsible slackers. I've never been in a union. Everything I got, I got it from being a great employee. Most companies reward people that are assets to the business. If they don't, you find someone who will.

I've never been a member of a union either, but I've certainly appreciated the 40 hour work week and overtime pay.
I agree totally. In all the 40 years I have worked in many different jobs, I have seen very few places where the Employer wouldn't bend over backward to keep a productive, dependable employee. If they are not smart enough to do that then you might as well move on because they will not be in business long. Just my thoughts.
