Studio B Guest says the PA DA will not charge Bill Cosby on the sex offense case(s). DA says the evidence is too weak.
>> He may have an eye for a pretty lady <<
That's well-known among the flight attendants of a major airline. A female acquaintance of ours met up with Cosby when she was in training with the airline. Her duty that day was in first-class and Cosby was one of four passengers. He requested of the senior flight attendant that our trainee acquaintance "sit with" him for the remainder of the flight. She did and he ended up calling her several times after their "meeting."
She was surprised to receive his calls as she never gave him her phone number nor expressed any interest in him but rather found him arrogant and "full of himself."
Well .. if that turns out to be true .. then I doubly hope some enterprising reporter starts doing some digging. It could prove very embarrassing for some liberals - which I would truly love.
Very credible
I know longer give him, or Bill O'Reilly, any benefit of the doubt about women. I assume they are lying.
I wouldn't be surprised if this was a politically aimed smear. The timing is quite suspicious. Hopefully the Cos will keep his pants zipped up in the future.
I firmly believe this was designed to smear Cosby and attempt to blackmail him into shutting him up. He's gotten to be an "uppity negro" who's moved off the plantation and that's no good for the race hustlers on the left.
Noah: C'mon, old fat hippos, get up there...
God: [ding] NOAH!
Noah: What!?!?!?!?
God: YOU HAVE TWO MALE HIPPOS THERE, TAKE ONE BACK AND GET A FEMALE!
Noah: I ain't doing it! You change one of them!
The DA (Bruce Castor, who will probably be a state-wide GOP candidate in a future election) was on Dom Giordano's radio show this evening. I think I caught most of it - I was on my way back from attending the Bush event in Blue Bell, PA.
While he did not say that no charges will be filed, if I recall correctly, he did say:
- In PA, the law says that a jury must be instructed to consider the length of time between the incident and the time taken to report it, which weakens the case against Cos.
- In PA, the tape recording cannot be admitted as evidence since the other party was unware of the taping, and the taping would be considered a felony under PA law.
Ping to 66 from a fellow Noah fan...
The "ding . . . this is God" is something I still do when I want my way.
Good news BUMP!
Maybe seats were lousy.
That's one of the funniest lines from the skit. I love it. I also like Dad is great, he gave us chocolate cake.!
Bingo!
How about no evidence.
I fear that Bill Cosby, at 67, now long used to being an icon and revered by millions, will be summarily cowed, realize that his icon ststus can be destroyed by a pointed finger and a few well-chosen words from a women who he may or may not have had some sort of relationshiip with in the distant past and so, drop his 'anti-victimization' message to blacks and simply retreat at this point. He's universally admired, fabulously wealthy and also getting on in years. Who needs this kind of flack and embarrassment, even if it's based on some fact? Certainly not Bill Cosby.
It's obvious that the 'warning' has been given by the powers that be on the left, just as it was for Bill O'Reilly and before that, Rush Limbaugh. Fortunately for all these men, they were able to fend off possible criminal and civil legal actions with high-priced attorneys and well-placed checks. Limbaugh and O'Reilly have continued to thrive, untouched by the accusations for the most part. That's because you either hate Bill and Rush or you like them and you either feel sorry for them (Rush) or don't buy the allegations (O'Reilly).
For Cosby, a pure entertainment figure not previously connected to many 'political' issues, his crusade to bring blacks to adopt some measure of personal accountability may not be worth the smeared reputation and threats of legal proceedings he has just endured. Besides, it's embarrassing if true and disgusting if a lie but this kind of 'she says - he says' deal always leaves some folks assuming the very worst and Cosby must not like that very much at this stage of his life and very successful entertainment career.
I hope Bill Cosby fights through this mess and emerges more respected than before but I fear that he will fold and just go back to telling funny stories, leaving political and social crusades to others - who will always lack Cosby's credibility and drawing power.
