Because of the attention being paid to me I find it is no longer possible to effectively be a reporter for Talon News. In consideration of the welfare of me and my family I have decided to return to private life.

I don't know of any reporter using alias's, let's investigate them all to make sure. We should have access to all their personal records, just as they are doing to Jeff Gannon and a bunch of other conservatives.

And how do you know no other reporter is using a pen name, have you access to all their records? Please share them with us. The Secret Service vetted him properly, as he stated, he gave them his drivers license and other information as needed. The only people making an issue of this are liberals.

Previous posts said that he says his family was being threatened but no proof is offered and the posters demurred when asked who was making the threats and what LE was doing about the threats. Anyone can say anything and to answer your question, if it were my family being threatened I'd have the law cranking as hard as I could get them to.

And, I don't believe the self-serving stories about the threats. If you want to believe that Jeff Gannon, or whatever his real name is, is the salt of the earth and the sun rises in his eyes go right ahead, you'll have plenty of company and won't even notice that I'm not there.

I honestly think this is much ado about nothing. Did you get to read the whole article through the Google link? Leftys are defenders of most moral slime but no one can match their moral outrage when aimed at conservatives. And they get away with it.

Whether this Jeff Gannon was or was not a true "journalist" is debatable, but when the MSM started to whine about his "credentials" they destroyed any chance that he could ever be called on again for a question at a press conference. If he were to be called upon ever again, the MSM were prepared to scream that the White House with "planting" set up questions to illicit pre determined responses. Gannon had no choice but to withdraw.
