in 1983, there was no such risk to the boy. nowadays? yes, artificial legal penalties may form a risk to the boy that did not exist before and which does not naturally exist.
psychos are a risk we all face, every day.
I know of two young boys around the age of 21 and 22 who are going to pay for the rest of their lives for having sex with 15 and 16 year old girls.
No one seems to care that the girls lied about their ages-they admitted to it- and came on to the boys for beer. The boys are in prison- the girls are back in school.
As a mother who is committed to the welfare of my boys- I am tired of the double standards. Of course human nature is what it is... there is no changing that.
AND reality is that boys need to be protected as much as girls.
There are wayyy more psychos these days.
