It's not Democrats driving the recall of Reed, by the way.

Trying to wade through the info on that web site reminds me of going to an Italian opera -- you don't know what's being said unless you have a program with a synopsis of the acts.

But I will say a prayer for you.

And I, in turn, will pray for Mary Lane. LOL

Dino just said what i thought he would say. he was just reassuring us the court rulings on friday were clearly a victory for him/us.

they are pressing on getting ready for trial of the election contest. it would hopefully lead to a vacancy of governor.

he said that even if the ruling puts him as governor, he would approach the legislature to do a new election. he said that would get favorable reception from the legislature. (for non-washingtonians, both houses are controlled by democrats).

so it was all good news.. letting us know its ongoing...

Republican, in the Jim Jeffords mold.

Do you mean he switched to being "independant" and sides with the 'Rats, or do you mean he's a RINO who sides with the 'Rats....

(of course, either way the effect is the same...)

Ughhh..screw that! If the judge appts him Gov. he oughta just kick back and enjoy his victory! NO new election(the RATS will try to sabotage the election) and the heck with both houses!! He won it fair and square...that's my 2cents worth! :)

That's o.k., not necessary, but thanks for the offer. Just wanted the bare facts, not all the political intrigue. Now I know who Reed of Washington is (vs. Reid of Nevada who I was just reading about on another thread). Good to see that the election is not yet settled, though the longer the RAT remains in office, the more difficult it will be to unseat her in any new election. Incumbents always have the advantage.

Have faith.

Let me quote our honorary Secretary of Defense Mary "Marummy" Lane:

"Will people begin to tire, and think 'OK, she's the legitimate governor?' No, I don't think they'll view her as a legitimate governor. ... I don't think it particularly hurts us to have her continue in office."
