NEWARK, N.J. -- Dozens of Honduran women and girls were smuggled into the United States and forced to work at a bar to earn freedom from the traffickers, federal authorities charged.
The women told agents they had expected to work as waitresses in restaurants, but were ordered to drink and dance with men at the El Paisano Bar and Night Club in Union City.
One woman told agents her family had paid $5,000 in Honduras to have her smuggled, but "after she got to the United States, she was told that she owed another $15,000 smuggling fee," according to documents filed in U.S. District Court. One illegal immigrant said she had been trying to pay off her debt for two years.

Thanks. It's tough to take hugh. As Ronnie Guyer says, the enemy is now within. I firmly believe that. It's self evident.

Has he tried McDonalds or Pizza Hut? A paper route? Sack boy?
FReepmail me your zip code and I can find someone hiring teens.
Now if your son has twelve nose rings or an attitude problem (such as hating foreigners) that just might be a problem.
This issue Mr bayourod has nothing to do with hating foreigners and personal insults and hyperbole are not constructive to anything. If you want these folks, then we'll let you pay for them all by yourself along with all the other bots.
Sheesh, you'd think a descendant of William the Conqueror would have a thicker skin.
"Bar owner Isidro Claros told the newspaper he was unaware of the ring and did not know the Rosales sisters."
Sounds like Schultz on Hogan's Heros - "I know nothing."
It really isn't Bush's fault.
I live in Herndon, Virginia. How long have you lived in Herndon and how long did it take before you became an expert on Northern Virginia demographics and on the No Va job market? Did you want only my zip code, or would you like my shoe size and credit card numbers, too?
We certainly don't need your help finding potential places of employment. If you read my post more carefully, you will see that I was referring to the businesses that typically hire teenagers. Amazingly, we have been able to figure out which businesses they are without your input.
My son does not have nose rings or the confrontational attitude that you frequently display here on Free Republic. As for the assumptions you make about our hatred of foreigners, your game plan would be decimated if you knew anything about our personal life. In fact, your assumption regarding our hatred of foreigners is so off base as to be comical to anyone that knows us.
I suggest you spend less time ramming your agenda down the throats of others and more time working on your attitude problem.
"My teenaged son cannot get a job around here because the foreigners ..."
Your post speaks for itself.
Really? I went to High School in an area filled with "foreigners" yet I managed to get jobs at Blockbuster Video and Borders Books. Where is your son looking?

>"When I owned fast food restaurants I hired hundreds of teenagers. (never an illegal one to my knowledge)."<
I care about America, our economy, our security, our standard of living and our future. It's the anti-illegal crowd that is all wrapped up in matters concerning emotional personal feelings.
Is that the best old post of mine that you could find where I said that I have hired hundreds of Hispanics? I said that I have hired hundreds of "teenagers", not "Hispanics."
