I knew someone would ask and I haven't noted the sources but I have read that he is pro-choice, and that is the main thing that bothers me. Please correct me if I have misremembered this.
It is my understanding that he is pro-life, but did not feel he could legislate from the bench.

I seem to remember hearing/reading something that he was pro-choice as well.
