This morning President Bush participated in a discussion about Social Security reform at the Qwest Center Omaha Arena in Omaha, Nebraska. This afternoon he held another discussion about Social Security in Little Rock, Arkansas at the Robinson Center Auditorium. Finally late this afternoon the President attended a third town hall style meeting at the Tampa Convention Center in Tampa Florida. At all three events President Bush was greeted by 10's of thousands of supporters, yet the mainstream media spends more time reporting about less than 2 dozen angry Democrats infected with the desease Liberalsim, than they spend on the Presidents message. We wont make that mistake here :-)
There's a few 'good guys' in Sacramento still.
Appointing a new SOS will be tricky. If I'm right, doesn't he/she have to be approved by the majority...which is Dim?
That's standard fare of JH though, isn't it, ohio? We expect it. Anymore, I just ignore him. In fact, I ignore most of the leftists who pretend to be Conservatives. The great pretenders.
Thanks for sharing your experience from yesterday. Psychogirl was thrilled to hear of the tiny SS woman that 'man'handled the disruptor. lol!
Keep in mind that the dims/socialists in this country *want* us dependent on the government. I believe their plan is to develope a new 'dependence program', bringing us further or perhaps completely into a socialist existance. Can you say communism?
Classical homeschoolers call that *living history*. ;o)
She's lovely...*and* brainy!
IIRC, Peggy also referred to Laura as 'boring' - this was during the first campaign.
She's adorable, cowgirl! Paint her finger-tip blue and send the picture to our President. ;o)
Kit, what a nice thing to say!!! Glad to be of service?
And even when they're called on regurgitating leftist talking points, they turn it around and attack the one who noticed what they were doing.
Perhaps ignoring them is best.......they're just bad little boys crying for attention.......... but sometimes......sometimes, you just can't help yourself! :o)
btw, how ya been mrs t? We haven't 'seen' each other in a while.....
(Can you BE a "tad" bipolar? LOL!)
Great idea, mrs tiggywinkle! Maybe I'll do that via photoshop and send the picture to the President. Not sure he'd ever see it, but she's a Texas girl, so maybe the folks at the White House would instinctively recognize her. :-)
In answer to your question - I've been busy with work and school, usually reading through the Dose in the morning, missing all the discussion excitement. Psychogirl is on a fast track (self motivated) and will be graduating a year early. She has her major and college already chosen and she's only going to be 15 in May. haha.
What a cutie! If you're going to "waste" bandwidth, it might as well be with a picture as darlin' as that one! I'll bet she gives all of you a lot of entertainment and joy!
You could add a cute little Texas sized title over the picture. Oh wait...little and Texas don't go together! lol.
Good job, mama, who just happened to homeschool her. ;o)
fire science
Secret Service
homeland security
sports medicine
Me? I'd rather she do something safe like arranging flowers, getting married (>college) and making lots of babies. haha.
Well, I haven't told anyone here, but one of our sons is going on a State Dept internship to a rather dangerous country this summer. Not safe, but once again, we entrust him to GOD's loving care.
Being a Mom is NOT easy!
Indeed she does.
If you're going to "waste" bandwidth, it might as well be with a picture as darlin' as that one!
You'd best be cautious about encouraging a grandmother of her first grandchild too much! Especially one who knows just enough html to be dangerous.
