Wash Times ^ | 2/3/05 | James Morrison

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez called Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice illiterate and suggested in a speech last week that she had sexual dreams about him, prompting outrage among Venezuelan women's groups, which denounced his "obscene and lewd" remarks. In his Jan. 23 speech, Mr. Chavez said Miss Rice "keeps demonstrating complete illiteracy." "It seems that she dreams about me. I can invite her on a date with me to see what happens to her with me. She said that she was sad and depressed because of Chavez. Oh, daddy! She should forget me. What bad luck this lady has. I don't want to make that sacrifice for my nation," he said, according to Venezuelan reports.

The world is full of anti-American blocs that need snuffing.
Me, I'd start with the closest ones.

Secure your flank before you advance.

(1) Chavez does not have the "support of the masses."

(2) If he did, he wouldn't have been subjected to a recall election.

(3) He did not willingly hold the recall election - he did it under extreme duress after his attempt to suppress this constitutional process was met with rioting in the streets.

(4) We don't need to invade Venezuela - unlike Iraq, a rational, organized opposition still exists in the country despite Chavez' efforts.

Kill Chavez and a few dozen of his cronies and Venezuela is back on track.

Chavez does not have the "support of the masses."

...........................................................

He has more support from the masses than wwhat is left of the un-united opposition. Most people in Venezuela are piss poor and he offers themhope so they support him.

The middle and upper classes hate him though.

As for the recall as far as I know NO ONE in the Whitehouse has called it fraudulent.

They are not "anti-american" now.

The criminals in power may be, but the country is not.

BTW, I did not engage you because I already know all your cliches before you use them.

That's why I think you do not belong here.

A troll perhaps??

That guy is insane! I hope Secy. Rice goes no where near him without heavy protection. His statements indicate his own desires, and they are despicable.

Wow. I hope Condi knees him in the nads if she ever crosses paths with Castro's butt-boy

****************

Condi is too much a lady to treat this idiot as he deserves. Her gracious response to Boxer is an example.

I hope she runs in '08.

"suggested in a speech last week that she had sexual dreams about him,"

She may have dreams about him. But methinks it will involve a spotter and a shooter with a steady hand and a sniper rifle.

...........................................................

Hmmm

Let me see. I make enter into a discussion to be met with insult after insult by you and I am the troll?

Sure.

All I have said is that:

1) I think Chavez has the support of the poor but not
the middle or upper class.
2) Invading or destabilizing Venezuela is not on Bush's
agenda nor is good for the US economy
3) That I do not like Chavez and think his land
expropriation is a bad thing.

Clearly my use of rational logic and arguement makes me a troll.

Of course if I start making offensive comments against my fellow freepers then I would not be a troll.

Go figure!

The biggest exporter of Oil to the US is Venezuela.

No, the biggest exporter is Canada.

Chavez funds Al Qaeda and is importing biological weapons from Cuba. He also trades guns for dope with FARC in Columbia and ships the drugs to the USA.

Its only a matter of time before he decides to taint the drug supply with a bio-nasty.

And what "offensive" or insulting language have I used towards you?

You use the language of the communist. If you are one, don't be embarrassed. If you are not, you should use a different set of linguistic tools to express yourself, and thereby not be confused with others.

Everything is an alleged CIA scheme, yet those hamfisted baboons haven't succeeded at anything in decades.

Chavez, Lula, Castro and Fox and a few others are forming a bloc that will be quite a danger to us in the near future.

You called me troll and a Communist. I do not insult people on this board and would hope they extended the same courtesy to me. Not everyone on this board cares as little as me about what others say.

Some people here are elderly and come here to enter into menaningfull deabte about politics and would find your insults and aggressive demeanour upsetting.

You have no mind for debate or rational arguement.
I am sorry you feel the need to hit out at people when you cannot use logic or words to enter into a debate with them.

Indeed there is.

Ever see (original version) "The In-Laws" starring Alan Arkin and Peter Falk? Hugo is a real-life General Garcia.

LOL!!!! That's too funny! He put a matching crimson beret on the parrot! LOL! The best part is: he couldn't have just gone to a store to buy that beret; he actually had to have one made for the bird. I think I've been laughing for about 7 or 8 minutes straight just thinking of it. :-)

Re: In-Laws - Classic! Does he make the bird kiss CIA agents? "That's nice."

Another Freeper identified Chavez as the "El Supremo" of the Hornblower books. El Supremo was a crazy dictator who strutted around in gold braid, ranted and raved, and impaled (or was it crucified) his enemies on the beach. Just give Hugo time...
