The 16th Amendment was NEVER legal...2/3's of states must ratify any NEW amendment to our Constitution....only 3 states voted for the 16th amendment....why should we now have to repel it?

Why isn't the truth about this illegal amendment put forth...what's so hard about telling the truth....going through this process is ridiculous!!!

This is wrong on both counts. Per the US Constitution, 3/4 of states must ratify an amendment. Furthermore, 38 states(out of 48 at the time) ratified the 16th amendment.

Of course, you can always refuse to pay your income taxes and raise this argument as a defense. The 7th Circuit disagrees, so good luck getting SCOTUS to hear you out and toss the Income Tax.
