Move over Teresa Heinz-Kerry, here comes Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin. Lansdowne Technologies Inc. (LTI), the Paul Martin corporation that somehow disappeared from Martin's public disclosure statements circa 1995, is in a business similar to the Heinz-Kerry charitable organization that links leftwing activists and UN radicals to specially designed Internet communications and virtual private networks.

Between the woman who coveted being America's First Lady and the Prime Minister of the country next door, top advocates of One World Government are being expedited in droves onto the Information Highway.

Through the Tides Foundation, back in the early 1990s Heinz-Kerry (Mrs. John Heinz) gave the United Nations a massive, 24-hour, transnational electronic communications network, the Institute for Global Communications (IGC).

ICG is one of the Tides Foundations largest ongoing projects. IGC and its offshoot, the Association for Progressive Communications (APC) are divisions of the 501c, non-profit charitable institutions, funded by Heinz-Kerry, currency speculator George Soros, journalist Bill Moyers and the Ford Foundation.

Coming down the pike in a similar business is Lansdowne Technologies Inc. flagship software, Tomoye Simplify 4.1. Tomoye Simplify is touted as "the leading developer of collaborative platforms for knowledge networks and communities of practice (CoP)." Tomoye counts the United Nations, the World Bank and Conservation International among its clientele.

In the spring of 1990, the Tides Foundation funded APC with the specific goal "to coordinate the operation and developing of an emerging global network."

Tomoye describes its customers as "leaders in government and private sector organizations around the world who are driving organizational results through Communities of Practice (CoP)."

"Tomoye's knowledge sharing software, Simplify, is a powerful web application," said Nalan Yuksel at the World Bank's Global Knowledge Partnership and one of the early users of Simplify.

According to the Tomoye website, "Simplify was first developed for one of the world's largest international NGOs (Non-Governmental Organizations) to address the specific needs of 15,000 researchers and policy makers from around the world."

It is unknown to outside observers whether Tomoye considers its listed client, the U.S. Navy Program Management Community of Practice (PM CoP) as falling within the global policy makers' category.

Connecting the dots between Martin and Landsdowne Technologies Inc. requires a paper chase.

Lansdowne is a subsidiary of Canada Steamship Lines Inc. (CSLI), the shipping empire owned by Paul Martin and turned over to his three sons in 2003.

According to the Globe & Mail, business dealings between Ottawa and the prime minister's shipping empire total $161 million over the past 11 years. That total includes $10.3 million in grants and a $4.9 million government loan.

It is a matter of public record that during the past decade when Martin was Liberal Finance Minister, of $27.7 million in Canadian federal government contracts landed by CSLI-almost half of the dollar amount went to CSLI subsidiary, Lansdowne Technologies Inc.--the company not recorded on Martin's public disclosure statement.

When it was revealed that Lansdowne Technologies had disappeared from Martin's disclosure statement, the Liberal government chalked it up to "administrative errors". When his attention to the oversight was forced by inquiring members of the then Canadian Alliance, now Canadian Conservative Party, Martin said he was "appalled" and "demanded" that it be corrected.

In new corporate chapters, Lansdowne Technologies Inc. is still landing government contracts.

LTI merged with FirstMark Technologies in 2003 and is an affiliate of Auresco Consulting Inc. Listed among the ACI clientele, the Maurice Strong-founded Candian Investment Development Agency (CIDA).

Last July, when Martin had been Canadian Prime Minister for one month, LTI was selected by Consulting and Audit Canada (CAC) to provide support to a selected CAC client list for the development of Treasury Board submissions and for support of a series of Transfer Payments.

In August of 2004, LTI was selected to provide senior-level project management support services to the Directorate of Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Defence (DNBCD) with the Canadian Department of National Defence.

This past November, LTI was selected to provide technical support services to the Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) Integrated Technical Support Directorate. LTI also picked up the job of developing and writing CCG's Technical Training Standard Manual.

The paper trail shows that Lansdowne Technologies is part of the Upper Lakes Shipping Group, owned by Canadian Shipbuilding & Engineering (CSE), CSE was formed in 1986 by the merger of the shipbuilding and ship repair divisions of two of Canada's largest private shipping companies: CSL, now part of the CSL Group and Upper Lakes Shipping, now named Upper Lakes Group.

According to a corporate overview posted on the Internet, "This voluntary merger was undertaken in direct response to the Canadian government's declared rationalization policy for the Canadian shipbuilding industry and received the full approval and endorsement of both the Federal and Ontario Provincial governments."

The Ottawa-based Lansdowne Technologies Inc. is self-described as a "privately held, Canadian-owned company that has been providing management consulting services to the public for 25 years."

In the booming business of providing military and civilian-surveillance, Lansdowne Technologies also trained inspectors attached to the United Nations Monitoring, Verification Inspection Commission (UNMOVIC) in 2001.

According to an Internet-posted Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs news release, Canada hosted a five-week training course for UNMOVIC inspectors with Dr. Hans Blix traveling to Ottawa to launch the training course.

When it comes to the behind-the-scenes push for One World Order, Maurice Strong protégé, Prime Minister Paul Martin has the proverbial finger in all the right pies.

David Hawkins, Foundation Scholar-Cambridge University, and founder of the Citizen's Association of Forensic Economists at Hawks’ CAFE, and CFP investigative journalist Judi McLeod, have teamed up to begin a series of articles on the UN’s radical socialist agenda executed across Intranets and virtual private networks, operated by the self-styled "Global Custodians". A new feature of Canada Free Press, the ongoing series combines McLeod’s investigative experience and communication skills with Hawkins’ brilliant research linking $40 trillion hedge funds, via an online portal on the 79th floor of One World Trade Center, to "disruptive technologies" developed by Canada for alleged use in the UN Oil-for-Food scam, 9/11 and Kyoto fraud.)

I usually view "conspiracies" as entertainment, but...

Lansdowne Technologies Inc. Hmmm, Teresa Heinz-Kerry's husband is a US Senator from MA, and they have a mansion in Boston. Lansdowne Street borders Fenway
Park, home of Boston Red Sox...

Coincidence? Probably, but I don't know Canadian history that well, and it was a Canadian article that brought
Tayrayza in to the mix.

Thanks! Reminds me of this:

The Oil-for-Food Scandal – the Canadian Connection

Current Canadian PM Paul Martin is a former Power Corporation employee who made his fortune when he bought Canada Steamship Lines from Power Corp. aided by loans from Power Corp. To this day both CSL and Power are reported to have mutual equity interests in each other.

The most senior foreign affairs/international trade adviser to current Canadian PM Paul Martin is Maurice Strong, former CEO of Power Corp. and a longtime U.N. and Kofi Annan adviser.

INTERNATIONAL MAN OF MYSTERY: WHO IS MAURICE STRONG? By Ronald Bailey Published in The National Review September 1, 1997

Among the hats he currently wears are: Senior Advisor to UN Secretary General Kofi Annan; Senior Advisor to World Bank President James Wolfensohn; Chairman of the Earth Council; Chairman of the World Resources Institute; Co-Chairman of the Council of the World Economic Forum; member of Toyota's International Advisory Board. As advisor to Kofi Annan, he is overseeing the new UN reforms.

Yet his most prominent and influential role to date was as Secretary General of the 1992 UN Conference on Environment and Development -- the so-called Earth Summit -- held in Rio de Janeiro, which gave a significant push to global economic and environmental regulation.

"He's dangerous because he's a much smarter and shrewder man [than many in the UN system]," comments Charles Lichenstein, deputy ambassador to the UN under President Reagan. "I think he is a very dangerous ideologue, way over to the Left."

SNIP

LAST week, Secretary General Annan unveiled Maurice Strong's plan for reorganizing the UN. To be sure, the notoriously corrupt and inefficient UN bureaucracy could do with some shaking up. Strong's plan, however, mostly points in a different direction -- one drawn from a document, Our Global Neighborhood, devised by the interestingly named Commission on Global Governance.

The CGG was established in 1992, after Rio, at the suggestion of Willy Brandt, former West German chancellor and head of the Socialist International [Note: As chancellor Brandt pursued policies favorable to Soviet policy in Germany and was subsequently scandalized when East German agents were found on his staff--Fedora]. Then Secretary General Boutros Boutros-Ghali endorsed it.

SNIP

Americans should be worried by the Commission's recommendations: for instance, that some UN activities be funded through taxes on foreign-exchange transactions and multinational corporations.

Interesting aside on the Rio conference mentioned above:

Teresa Heinz Kerry

Heinz Kerry met John F. Kerry in 1990 at an Earth Day rally, after being introduced by Senator Heinz. This was the only known time that she and John Kerry met before the death of Senator Heinz. After Senator Heinz died in an airplane crash on April 4, 1991 in Pennsylvania, Heinz Kerry inherited his vast fortune. She and John Kerry ran into each other again at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 1992 at the Earth Summit, which Ms. Heinz attended as a member of a State Department delegation by appointment by President George H. W. Bush. Their courtship began in 1993, and they were married on May 26, 1995 on Nantucket, Massachusetts. This was also the second marriage for Senator Kerry.

Interesting that these same names pop up both with respect to the push for "environmental" regulations to be funded by taxing multinational corporations and with respect to the OFF scam. Looks like the same scam artists playing two rackets, and it dovetails with Soros' "open society" policies for supposedly "managing" corporate corruption:

Open Society News: Stopping the Spread of Corruption

Soros, not coincidentally, is one of Strong's supporters:

The Earth Charter - Agenda for Totalitarianism

The United Religions Initiative supports the push by Maurice Strong and Mikhail Gorbachev, founders of Green Cross International, for an Earth Charter. Gorbachev views this proposed Earth Charter as "a kind of Ten Commandments, a 'Sermon on the Mount,' that provides a guide for human behavior toward the environment in the next century and beyond." (11) Proponents of the Earth Charter will seek endorsement of the treaty from those who attend the Parliament of World Religions in December 1999. The Charter is a far-reaching document, one that would reshape the economy and politics of all nations if adopted. The "Green Cross Earth Charter Philosophy" - a document from the Earth Council web site - makes the philosophy and goals of the proposed new treaty clear: "The protection of the Biosphere, as the Common Interest of Humanity, must not be subservient to the rules of state sovereignty, demands of the free market or individual rights." (12)

SNIP

Maurice Strong has the position and the influence to make himself heard worldwide. Strong, Chairman of the Earth Council, is on the board of the World Economic Forum (WEF); Klaus Schwab, president and founder of the WEF, is a member of the Earth Council.(1114) The WEF, which meets annually in Davos, Switzerland, describes itself - with good reason(1115) - as "the most significant global business summit bringing together close to 2,000 business and political leaders, experts, academics, and members of the media, to set the global agenda for the coming year." (1116) For example, Bill Gates, Yasser Arafat, Benjamin Netanyahu, Muhammad Hosni Mubarak (President of Egypt), Donna Shalala (Secretary of Health and Human Services), Viktor Chernomyrdin (Prime Minister of Russia), the presidents of Romania, Hungary, and Poland, Kofi Annan (UN Secretary General), Michael Bon (CEO of France Telecom), John Smith (CEO of General Motors), Peter Sutherland (Chairman of Goldman-Sachs), Kim Woo-Choong (Chairman of Daewoo Corporation), and Jürgen Schrempp (Chairman of Daimler-Benz) attended the 1997 session of the World Economic Forum. (1117) According to Forbes magazine, George Soros is one of the "regulars" at these meetings.(1118)
