Where was Ted Kennedy during the State of the Union?
Posted on 02/02/2005 7:29:18 PM PST by atchoo2
Did anyone see if Teddy was at the speech tonight? I did not see a photo of him. What bridge was he hiding under after his blatant attempt to discourage the vote in Iraq last week?

Yeah, I was thinking about him too - especiallywhen Bush said we "will not abandon the Iraqi people."
Ole Hillary looked awful. She wanted to be anywhere but there.
Bush has grown in his job. He did a fine job. His agenda is aggressive and is a tough one. He will do his best to get it accomplished.

If it's after 11am and you're looking for Ted Kennedy, the closest bar is your best bet.

Yikes--Teddy in New Orleans! Plenty of booze, but those streets in the French Quarter are pretty narrow.

"His brother-in-law has been indicted in LA."
To whom and what does this refer?

Wow, I know! It was amazing to actually see Kerry present in the Senate.

Comnrade Kerry was there. But Teddy probably got tied up in his office by the few remaining reasonable Dems who wanted him out of sight.

Your display of cartoons may be humorous to some, but I wonder what Mary Jo's family must think when they see this kind of political humor. Thank God it wasn't my daughter.

Teddy was tuning up the old Oldsmobile and heading out to a bridge

I think several other dems (who denounced what Teddy said) advised Teddy he needed to be invisible for awhile.
I think he needs to be invisible permanently - and since he's up for re-election in 2006 - it could happen. MA has a repub gov - so it could happen. Teddy's become a laughing stock and an embarrassment to the dems. If Dean get the DNC chair - and Teddy joins in with Dean - it could mean real trouble for Teddy.
