...I saw Kerry - smirking!...

Thank God he isn't POTUS. If I had my wish, then Tonkin Gulf Yachtclub's wish would come true and he'd be imprisoned for treason.

Man, the dems were losers tonight (okay, so they're losers 24/7, but sometimes like tonight it's extremely apparent).

What a great speech by our President. I am pretty sure the liberal media will try to downplay or ignore the powerfulness of the moment when the woman from Iraq hugged the woman who lost her son in Fallujah, but that moment will live with me and my wife for a long time. It just kind of sums up everything and why Bush made the right decision to go into Iraq, even though there would be consequences.

The rebuttal after the speech by the dems was so weak. One minute they were crying about the deficit, the next minute they were crying about how we need to spend more money to protect America. And the real kicker for me was Pelosi's comment about how we should never send troops into harms way again needlessly.

3,000 Americans slaughtered in a single day is not enough of a reason to send troops into harms way? What the hell is she talking about. Saddam was bad news. He would have continued aiding terrorists and that aid would have extended as sanctions were lifted and more money flowed into his coffers. He had to go for our own sake, and as a side benefit, for the sake of the Iraqi people.

Guess I'm venting a bit here, but I'm shocked that most of these liberals don't see the silver lining in all that is transpiring despite their best efforts to stifle it. Bush has freed how many millions of people now? Killed how many terrorists? Has sent a clear message to other rogue nations as to what America will do in order to protect her self?

Tom Delay summed it up nicely. The democratic party has become the party of "No". No plan, no vision, no nothing except dissent from the majority of the American people.

God bless the USA, and God bless our troops who defend her.
