Oh you bet! At first I thought it was "our side" who was reacting to the possibility of SS going broke, but then a commentator later on said it was the Dems---and yes he handled it with pure class as he does in all situations IMO. Well, on second thought, there have been a couple of times when he said things he probably wished he could have taken back, but I found those humorous and thought it was just his Texas personality coming forth which to me makes him even more endearing.

As an English person I find it strange that people are surprised by boos because I am used to whoever is Prime Minister making a statement/speech and the opposition booing.

Am I right therefore in assuming that this speech is more given in the head of state function of the President so it is not normal to have boos.
