Don't bother, I don't care to show up just to read your kook fringe idiocy.

You are another FReeper who I have respected in the past and have gone out of my way to be polite to. Why the personal attacks? If you consider an absolutionist view of the Constitution to be "kook fringe", perhaps you don't belong on a web site which lists restoring the Constitution as it's main objective.

Oop, here we go, citing from the Federalist Papers.

Funny you should mention the Federalist Papers, as they explain the founders' intent of the 2nd Amendment. I strongly suggest reading them.

Not an attack. I just don't see how you can sit there and tell those who are in this thread that the 2nd Amendment has nothing to do with hunting. You take away guns, then what are you going to hunt with, aside from the bow and arrow, but then again, you'd limit yourself to big game like Elk and Deer.

Perhaps we are misundertanding each other. The point I was trying to make is that the reason the founders enumerated the RKBA had nothing to do with hunting or self-defense from neighbors. The fact that one is able to hunt is a nice side effect of the RKBA though.
